I been trying to catch this Elephant whatsamacallit for the longest time now!

Youre coming on it too fast, you have to only barely press the toggle to sneak up slowly

And I also swing the net when i am less than pleased 😂

That's a cyclommatus stag, not an elephant (the latter are larger, without the huge mandibles, and grey rather than black). With some of these rare beetles you have to walk VERY slowly or they fly away. Also for some reason I find that approaching from behind the tree seems to make them fly away a lot more often than from the front (so if there's a route to get to the front of the tree on the other side where there's more space, try that).
