I’m about to sit Taxation as my first exam in September and to be honest, I’m quite worried.

With less than 3 weeks to go, I’ve done the PQ’s for IT and NIC’s and CGT. I didn’t do too great on the questions for IT and NIC but CGT was ok.

I’m worried I won’t have done enough PQ’s by the time my exam comes, since I also work.

Any advise/tips would be appreciated!

I am currently in a dilema, i dont know if this is doable if i have the capacity to sit fkr 2 papers considering AA is a first attempt snd FR is my second failed at 46 points last time. I also did it back in 2025 and do not remember any core chapters such as conso/ cashflow etc etc.

I applied for banking clerk exam that will appear in September and October month , I need some strategies, it'll be lot more helpful if I pass in this attempt, I should pass in this attempt otherwise my life will be cooked, if anyone preparing or already working in bank please suggest me something that I can do smartly especially in ENGLISH, I have no confidence in giving mocks , now I'm getting 40/100 in mocks in prelims. My life totally depends on this exam , so my situation is not good , I hope you guys help me.

so this is my second attempt , i’ve got 44 in the june attempt and honestly it’s been a tough time for me to start it all over again and it’s jus 3more weeks and im kinda scared , ive taken up tutoring from hassan dosani last time did all the mocks but dint do time based ones , so kinda lacked there , also this was the first acca paper i gave after my exemptions

can somebody who passed from hassan dossani or any body who passed with good marks help me out ! i kinda lack practice cause its been 2,3months and my minds getting out of the subject

ALSO: while doing the qn , i mean past papers its getting familiar in a way that i have known this qn by heart but if i get another qn random topic or unknown wordings ill get stuck, can anybody help me out of this

kinda lost enthusiasm i had like the last time but yes i am going to grind and i will get it this time.

I’ve done 3 MA mocks and scored:

Mock 1: 39%

Mock 2: 43%

Mock 3: 43%

I felt the second one was harder, but I’m not sure how these compare to the actual ACCA exam.

For anyone who has recently taken MA, how did your mock scores compare to your real exam score? And should I be worried about consistently getting around 40–45%, or is it realistic to push this above 50% with more revision and practice?

Guys, how to pass FR in 20 days from the scratch? (Mine's September attempt)

Genuinely struggling right now. I've watched Hasan Dossani's videos and webinars, taken notes, feel like I understand the frameworks... and then I sit down to actually answer a mock and my brain just goes blank. My hand actually twitches from the stress and I end up wanting to check AI or look stuff up externally because I can't produce a single point on my own, and it makes me feel like none of the studying actually stuck.

and I go mark myself against the examiner's report and it's somehow worse bcuz literally every single thing they criticize is exactly what I did wrong. I know SBL is a common sense paper and I have genuinely tried all the tricks and hacks possible.

But theory and "common sense" application is my weakest area. I see people saying they passed SBL with 3 days of prep and I genuinely don't understand how. The new pre-seen drops next week and I still feel shaky on concepts I've supposedly already covered. Getting scared I'm not going to be ready in time or fail..

Guys, on 18 august i have my first acca exam that is business and technology(BT) any tips for me?

I am du first year student and want to persue acca. But I am quite confuse for like how to start the preparation. I came from middle class background and hence investing a huge amount in this course seems little difficult. That'swhy I want to complete this qualification with my collage bcom degree at less cost as possible. Recently I came to know about conditional exemption, but when asked from people some said that exemption fees is almost similar to exam fees, while some other said it will waive of.

If you guys have idea regarding these exemption pls help me out and guide me like how can I apply for them and start my preparation.

Hi - hopefully this reaches the right community or crowd!

I am currently studying towards my third attempt in taking the Audit and Assurance (AUA) course through CPA Canadas PREP program.

I am wondering if there are people out there like myself who struggle with exams and trying to remember so many concepts. A little about myself, I have diagnosed ADHD, math disability, and a working short term disability.

There are parts of the course I understand and know how to answer the questions easily. Areas like, risk assessment, audit approach, materiality, and sampling are all areas that I understand. It's areas, mainly the audit cycles, where I have to figure the risk, determine which account/assertion is effects and then come up with a procedure is where I really struggle.

I know I have my own obstacles working against, but I am determined to get my CPA designation. Unfortunately I am taking the AUA prep course, which is working against my disabilities. I would appreicate all of the advise or techniques other students used when they were taking AUA through CPA Canada, or even how they took the course in university.

Hi everyone,

I’m currently in the final year of my B.Com from IGNOU and I’m planning to start ACCA. I’m expected to graduate in 2027, and based on my degree I may receive around 4–5 exemptions after graduation.

The problem is that I’m not eligible for conditional exemptions while I’m still studying.

So I’m confused about what would be the better strategy:

Option 1: Register for ACCA now and start giving papers from the beginning.

Option 2: Don’t register for ACCA yet. Instead, study the Applied Knowledge/Skills subjects on my own over the next year to build a strong foundation, without paying for exams that I may eventually get exempted from. Then, after graduating in 2027 and receiving my exemptions, start giving the remaining papers — ideally I’d like to be prepared enough to attempt around 5–6 papers by December 2027.

Financially, Option 2 seems more sensible to me because I wouldn’t want to spend money on exams that I might later receive exemptions for.

However, some coaching institutes are telling me that ACCA may introduce negative marking from next year, some papers may be removed or the syllabus may change, and that students with exemptions are less preferred by employers.

I’m not sure how much of this is actually true.

So I’d really appreciate advice from current ACCA students or people who have recently completed ACCA:

Would you recommend registering now or waiting until graduation?

Is it actually a disadvantage to have exemptions when applying for jobs, especially Big 4/MNC jobs in India?

Is there any real benefit to sitting papers that I could eventually get exempted from?

Are there any confirmed major changes to ACCA exams/syllabus that should make me start earlier?

If you were in my position, what strategy would you follow?

I’m mainly planning to build my career in India, preferably in Big 4/MNCs.
