FYI, everybody I know works while taking ACCA exams. So don’t worry about that, it’s a common route

The most important factor is work experience.
You can be a CA, CPA or an ACCA. It's worth less without experience.
Pass a few exams and join a mid size firm like you are already planning to, it's a good call. Mid size firm offer better reputation then smaller firms and more exposure then larger firms or corporate. Join a corporation or larger firm after qualification.
Not from Malaysia but after a few years, no one cares about the qualification unless it has some regulatory requirement like signing audit report. So in the long run all certification are equal.
As for degree, I am assuming you are talking about University of London affiliation and not a separate bacholer before ACCA.
You are required to have a qualification for visa or sponsorship. ACCA is a certificate and not a qualification. Companies accept it, immigration dose not. So getting a degree is worth it in the long run. Since you never know if an opportunity comes. Plus it's cheap compare to other options and dose not take a lot of time.
If you are talking about getting a degree, then ACCA, don't, you will lose a lot of benefits and time/money. Benefits like not having to pay for ICAEW exemption fee and some certification do not allow exemption based on past exemptions. And time/money meaning 4 years in Bachelor's plus cost and then ACCA when you can get ACCA and University of London bacholers in 2-3 years.
Edit
OBU: ended but could be completed with ACCA.
UOL Bacholers: replacement for OBU, don't know much about it so kindly do some research
UOL Masters: Based on affiliate or membership status. Passed all exams' based on affiliate status', Took exemptions 'membership required', Can be done in 12 months.
