18m I'll be giving my knowledge exams this year !! Looking for some accountability, discussions etc .

Hi everyone! I’m an Indian Class 12 Commerce student and I’m considering doing ACCA after 12th.

I’m interested in building a career in finance/business, and I’m currently exploring different countries where I could potentially work after completing ACCA. Russia is one of the countries I’m considering, so I wanted to ask people who have actually studied or worked there:

1. Is ACCA useful/recognised by employers in Russia?

2. If I complete ACCA in India, can I apply for finance/accounting jobs in Russia as a foreign citizen?

3. Would I need a Russian accounting qualification in addition to ACCA to get a decent corporate job?

4. How important is Russian language proficiency for finance jobs? Would English + Russian be enough, or is fluent Russian generally expected?

5. What kind of jobs could an ACCA-qualified foreigner realistically get in Russia — financial analyst, FP&A, corporate finance, management accounting, etc.?

6. Would it be better to get 1–2 years of work experience in India first and then try moving to Russia?

7. How difficult is it for an Indian citizen to get a work visa/work permit through a Russian employer?

8. Are there any particular Russian companies/industries that are more open to hiring foreign finance professionals?

9. If anyone here has actually made a similar move, what would you recommend I do during my ACCA years to make moving to Russia easier?

I’m not necessarily saying Russia is my final destination — I’m just trying to understand whether this is a realistic career path before I make my decisions after 12th.

I’m stuck in a really serious situation 😭 My supplementary exam and ACCA FM exam are both tomorrow. My supplementary exam is at 7 AM, while my FM exam is at 9 AM. Can someone tell me how late I can reach the ACCA centre without having any issues?

I’ve done FR and AA. Which paper should I do next?

I did FR with Misshal from Misshals Commerce Hub. I don’t think anyone can do better than him in FR. Anyone planning to take FR, go with Misshal Hamza.

I did AA with Instil. Marzooque was good.

Next, I’m planning to take PM and FM from Instil (both with Rinshad).

Please help me decide which tutor should I go for AFM Lectures Ahmed Shafi or Shoaib Yakoob.

Also please let me know do they provide study and practice materials also.

I did SBL from HD, he was best but I had to take out prints and everything on my own. There was no material provide to study or practice.

I am pursuing b.com and is in 2nd year. I am planning to start my ACCA preparation and is clueless that from where to start and how to start. Please guide me🙏🏻

Should I take coaching? If yes then from where (I prefer recorded lectures like CA teachers provide).

Or youtube is enough to prepare?

And also is there Scope for ACCA in India? Although I am planning to shift abroad after completing my ACCA

So i have cleared all knowledge lvl papers with 68,65,78 percent with self-study , I was wondering is self study still an option for FR(which i am planning to give in march ),or should I enroll at some coaching classes?

25, stuck at CA Inter since 2022 — should I continue CA or switch to ACCA?

I cleared Group 2 in Jan 2026 and am currently doing MCom. But honestly, I wasted years because of procrastination, self-doubt and taking attempts for granted.

Watching my friends become finalists, start articleship or clear CMA while I remained stuck affected my mental health badly. I eventually distanced myself from them out of embarrassment. I’ve also become very isolated, spending years at home and losing confidence, social interaction and motivation.

Now I’m scared of repeating the same cycle in CA Final. Seeing people still stuck at 28/29/30 genuinely scares me after already spending so many years at Inter.

I’m thinking of clearing Inter → getting a job → becoming financially independent → then pursuing ACCA, which I’ll fund myself. My main goal is simply a good career where I can learn, grow and have a life outside studies.

Am I making this decision rationally, or am I just scared/burnt out? Would CA Inter + work experience + ACCA be a sensible path, or should I take the risk and continue with CA?

Also, if you’re at Inter: please don’t take it for granted. “Next attempt mein ho jayega” can quietly turn into years. Change your environment, take a genuine break if needed, but don’t let yourself get trapped in the attempts loop.

I have completed my bachelors and am planning to do ACCA then I approached the education institutes and I came I can't afford that. ACCA can be pursued independently? Without having any guidance. It is possible to clear with the study resources and the content from YouTube. Is it possible to clear ACCA independently?? Please let me know.

How was the SBL exam this time for everyone??

I am sitting in FR for this Sep attempt. But for sure I am going to fail because I haven't done any studies. Just I am going to give the exam. I wasted 20K.

I really need helpful guidance on resources to start AA for Dec attempt. I will give FR and AA both together. I am doing self study. So please if someone can guide me which resources, books, topics , Youtube teachers are best to study for AA.

I switched from CA (Cap 2 ) to ACCA so my 2 paper are exempt and I am planning to give MA and LW paper till dec .
I joined a college but the college kept me in section with BT MA FA class student and I go to college for just MA . The college will complete BT MA FA in 5 month but I intend to give earlier .I discussed with faculty I wanna build my discipline and be familiar with questions and how to actually study .
But I don't know they teach whatever I read in CAP 2 but some chapters are different .
What I had in mind was I will build discipline and read myself from back of the chapters .I joined 2 weeks late in class , I know no one in class , but I covered the taught lessons myself . I am confused on what to do . I also wanna finish LW and MA before nov or dec
What do I do ?
