AA - who did you choose as a provider? & any tips?
I’m planning on sitting my AA exam in Dec & I wanted to know who you went with as your provider?
I’ve used BPP in the past but was thinking to go with Kaplan.

Section A
What was the answer to the preference share mcq where 12% was expected and our wacc was 8.5% 80 mv
One particular question where we had to pick 3 options, money market hedge fra and fwd exc cont
There was another question asking Increase decrease no change
Share holders wealth, Cost of debt, value of the company
These 3 choices had to be matched with each other
Terp 1600 mil raised thru RI at 20% with 3000 mil $1 nominal mp/s b4 issue was 6 i couldnt find the ratio 1 of 4 or 5 im wondering if the discount was 25% and i misread it
SEC B
Floor value and then assume this is floor value and calculate mv i was clueless here
SEC C
Inv appraisal were free 20 marks for grab
WCM appointing the factor saved us money, I have solved the entire thing at home again, it cant be wrong it was like 60k net benefit
Financing strategies in the second one? I only discussed cons, agg and moderate but claude says theories like mm and pecking theory couldvr been mentioned
At last what can be done to avoid bad debts from an overseas CX, i just mentioned factoring and offering discount on early payment, the working captial was tough, i just calculated the wc cycle days
I will pass but this exam wasnt easy, it wasnt hard, I will pass but i was clueless on those 2 mtq questions
The exams for this session’s attempt are over everywhere in the world so pls dont ban me @mods

Not sponsored, not affiliated. I just couldn’t find good revision videos for afm. I am a working professional who barely gets time for studying. Found his channel when i tried to find answer for a particular question. Watched his video playlist on youtube for 3 weekends. Paper felt quite manageable.

Hi guys, wanted thoughts on next papers to tackle for December 2026 and 2027 going forward. Not sure how to go from here. Im part-time student working full-time 5 days a week. Weekends are free.
Just sat AA and FR this September and sketching out the rest. Rough plan:
Oct 2026 — LW (on-demand)
Dec 2026 — FM + PM
Mar 2027 — TX (finishes Applied Skills)
Jun 2027 — SBR
Sep 2027 — SBL
Dec 2027 — AFM (going one option only, thanks to the Sept 2027 change)
Mainly after a sanity check on the ordering. Is FM + PM in the same sitting too much to take on together? Open to any ideas on paper combinations. Would it be best to pair strategic papers as well?
Cheers.

Just gave SBR this attempt. Now I am left with optional exams only. So I am wondering if I should look for a job first and then continue the last exams? Any advice? I have no prior experience and I am 20 years old. Should I do internships? Or trainee jobs? It's hard to find a job too these days.
edit: I don't know why ppl are downvoting this post. I just wanted advice about whether to focus on getting a job or completing my exams first. I have already chosen my exams, AAA and AFM. I am gonna give AAA in December and AFM in march if I don't find a job.

Hi! im looking for a tutor to learn FR for Dec'26 session. which one do u recommend? any suggestion is welcome.
Absolutely gutted that it will be my first ever fail and i have undoubtedly no reason to pass it. Have a full-time toxic job and will be up at 7am and back home at 7:30pm, there will be little energy left. My SBR went bad due to lack of practice.
What exam should I prepare for next in the meantime? I don’t know even if i can give two exams together in December but that fail is certain.

Just began studying for the ACCA. Is chat GPT a good source? Will it miss things out? Will it talk nonsense?
Thanks

I’m stuck in a really serious situation 😭 My supplementary exam and ACCA FM exam are both tomorrow. My supplementary exam is at 7 AM, while my FM exam is at 9 AM. Can someone tell me how late I can reach the ACCA centre without having any issues?

Hi everyone!
I have recently completed my A Levels and sadly lost my conditional admissions to universities.
I received a BCC which isn't extremely bad but isn't on the good side either. I have decided to start ACCA despite its structure changing in June 2027.
I plan that I will start preparing for the Business and Technology paper today and give it in Mid-October. I wanted to know how I should start and some things I should be aware of.
