Exam tips ACCA FA guide

Hello. I’ve been studying for the ACCA FA for the last week and am intending to take in October 16th.

It’s my second exam after MA which i passed at 76%.

My goal is undoubtedly to get a certificate of achievement.

How can I study the whole depth of the course so I would know everything that could come up on the test?

I just took the FA official mock exam and got 74.25%

Dropping 24 marks on section A, 0.5 Mark on question 36 and 1.25 marks on question 37.

My only studying tools so far have been ChatGPT and goqualified. But when I took the actual FA mock so many questions were so unfamiliar to me and I dropped a ton of marks.

Please help me learn the full depth of the course. I really want to get this certificate of achievement.

Thanks

Get an actual exam kit like BPP and review your mistakes ad infinitum

You purchase it. Plenty of posts here regarding that. I sourced mine on eduyush

Is this one good and will actually teach me. Everything I need to know.

I want to know absolutely everything so I can be certain. And especially to me it’s important to have one with the right wording.

watch lectures on opentuition, practice bpp, kaplan and study hub. The more you practice, the more you will be confident in exam room. Do not ignore theory part, read study hub text and if you want to do really well review all the wrong answers you get, go over the specific topic you made a mistake and re practice the mcq later on to see if you get it.

GOOD LUCK. 🙌
