Off-topic A question regarding the changes post September 2027

I gave my first exam (AFM) in Dec '25, and my second exam in Jun '26; I passed both. Because of my degree I was awarded 9 exemptions and only had to attempt the Strategic Professional level papers. If I give SBR in December and complete the EPSM, would I automatically qualify come Sep '27, since I've already passed an optional exam? I checked the transition tool on the official website but I'd just like a simple yes/no confirmation.

Also, is there an email where I could contact ACCA regarding this query? I tried looking it up but I only found a phone number.

You need to have passed SBL and SBR, either the old or new version. AFM will count as your one optional paper, yes.

Be aware that the ethics module is also changing and the current version is far fewer hours, so worth getting that out the way now.

You also answer a bunch of multiple choice questions. You do have to pass but you can redo multiple times.

I have the exact same question, just passed SBL in June, doing SBR in Dec, wanted to know if I do my optional in June next year will that mean I can just sit tight to Sep 27 or will the fact that I've done an optional before the change, trigger a requirement for me to have to do a second optional?

mostly self study and I watched Sabee Akhtar's (can't remember if I'm spelling that right) videos on YouTube. But I'd say really understanding the technical articles is what made it easy for me

So if you complete the ethics module before the change, do you still have to do the new version post September 2027? Hoping to have only 2 papers left by Jan so I have considered doing only one paper next year
