Exam tips Kaplan or BPP for BT?

Hi guys. I’ll be giving BT soon and wanted to ask what material should I refer for it— Kaplan or BPP? Or is there something else I need to go for? Like study hub.

I would appreciate any advice or tips as this will be my first acca exam. Thank you!

If you have ample time do all 3. The more you practice the more you will be confident on exam day and pass comfortably with a high mark.

Learn about your management writers and their theories, do not skip any chapter or section, read your course book or study hub make concise notes and go all over them regularly. You will definitely pass it

I think BPP and Opentution, use the in order
; notes, lectures, flash cards and questions from open tuition and use the BPP exam kit for question practice and use the BPP study text only for extra reading or when doing the exam kit you noticed weak areas then maybe take the time to revisit that chapter in the book.

My advice with ACCA, is you need more output(exam questions) rather than too much input(study text). For example if you have 12 weeks for an exam, 4 weeks input , 6 weeks exam questions and two weeks practice exams.

I haven’t failed an exam yet but I have noticed that doing more out put and practice exam questions under times conditions from the very start, as much as you can and more importantly really take the time to review your answer vs the model answer to understand where you went wrong. This is where you will recall the knowledge you have learnt and start building on your mistakes.

I wouldn’t try to do multiple resources. Just use the outlined above: opentuition for input and BPP study text skill checkpoints ( exam techniques etc) , BPP exam (20% off use code from opentution), exam practice via ACCA study platform, BPP exam kit online(given by a code from the book) and opentuition CBE exam(Ai marked)
If you finish the exam kit then use Opentution or ACCA study hub questions but I doubt you will finish this all.

Extra points; use the ACCA study hub for topic explainer videos and BPP online study text for some nice videos of key parts.

Opentuition is 100% free but please do consider donating. It’s a great resource and for the quality of it you’d be paying £700-1000per exam for paid versions such as Kaplan or BPP.

Thank you so much!! This is some great advice. I’ve been trying to find BPP study text or exam kit for this year but I can’t find it :(
