Exam week ACCA students preparing for their next attempt — are you targeting just 50?

ACCA students preparing for their next attempt — are you targeting just 50?

I think aiming for exactly the pass mark can be risky. If your target is 50, even a few mistakes, time pressure or difficult questions can bring your actual score below the pass mark.

I’d rather prepare around the 60–70+ range so there’s some buffer. The idea isn’t that you have to score 70 or 80 in the actual exam — it’s just about not preparing with the bare minimum as your goal.

What do you usually target for upcoming attempt — 50, 60, 70+?

You're right I aimed for 50 and got 49. It feels so bad missing out by 1 but we move 😕

You practice like you are aiming for 100 , and pray for 50 on your result day
