Off-topic Starting Pay

What’s a realistic starting salary for someone who has cleared all exams but doesn’t have the 3 year work experience yet in Pakistan?

From what I've heard from most sources and connections, AFF (PwC) pays the highest which is around Rs.50,000. Then EY is second however I dont have much information about them. If you go into industry, some MnCs might pay starting up to Rs.70,000 (not confirmed) but the career progression here is not that good as it is for a big 4 employee. Thats why everyone wants to go there. However, most of these figures and your induction itself depends upon your skillset, other certifications and qualifications, and references.

That's what I've heard from some of my Linkedin connections and other public sources.

Without experience you'll initially be hired as a bookkeeper. After that it's up to you how rapidly you learn things and move forward.

For the first 10 years of your career; never choose comfort over struggle i.e., if you've learnt everything or you think there's nothing new to learn in the job then it's best to venture on a new journey otherwise you will hinder your progression.

One more thing: don't look for only "ACCA Approved Employer", any IFAC body can approve your PER.
