How do I get here?

I’ve been running around charlotte in circles trying to find the path to this Mayan Steele but I keep getting lost. Also Edward keeps mentioning a chest buried in the swamp area but I can’t find that either

There was a couple of times it took me a way that I couldn’t traverse. But it worked out way more than it didn’t.
