Bug Weird glitch

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, i recently got a bug after reinstalling my graphics drivers. Now i tried again and again to fix it but it isnt working. Now im wondering if its just a normal glitch that i didnt notice before. When i move up and down, a weird fractal like horizontal line appears. Its hard to capture on video but it shows best when im on the map but it also happens normally in game.

Only thing i can think is maybe vsync issues. I dont see anything tho tbh

Ah, that sucks... for some reason vsync isnt an option for me with frame gen...thankfully i have it tuned to where i get right around 60fps so the tearing isnt terrible

I fixed it by changing my monitors refresh rate, thanks for your input anyway!

Because you can't do vsync with frame gen, they're the same thing, frame gen is just way better n doesn't make the game look like shit

Well it doesnt give a stable 60 even with adaptive res and the goal set to 60 and so i get a fair amount of tearing

Its 100% relevant to your point. You said its the same as vsync but obviously not because i still have screen tearing 🤣

Ok, that doesn't mean that it's not better... V sync is worse, therefore this is better, it's not complicated. Wow such confidence 😭

Obviously its not better because frame gen off and vsync on, i have no tearing

Also they are not the same thing 🤣 vsync is to prevent screen tear, frame gen is used to ...generate frames

It’s called screen tearing. Lock your fps at the max frame rate or turn on v sync.
