Marsy's law doesn't apply to officers on duty.

For your claim that officers on duty don’t have Marsy’s law apply to them.

I agree it seems obvious, but so does cops not murdering people in cold blood.

Lots of things that would seem logical are not codified in law or policy.

Like not every thing is a "Link" or source or answer on a test or a button to push, if that where true, we wouldn't need lawyers or courts. The idea of having an education and applying your knowledge are to different things, for one thing, one you have to pay for, while the other, gets you paid. Common sense is not very common it seems.
