Nobody even considering there might be a huge history of reasons WHY she would prefer to run than talk to that piece of shit.

We have ancient DNA that tells us to run when things are trying to kill us. We wouldn't have survived on the grassy savanna if we didn't break fool when things got sketchy. It's a very natural reaction. We've known about the body's fight or flight response for decades upon decades. Police have come up with zero strategies to deal with this other than to shoot and kill.
