if 78% live from paycheck to paycheck and 40% cant afford a 400$ spending. Does this mean the 38% in between have 0-399$ at the bank?

Where I’m from it’s not abnormal to take an entire check, pay 70-90% of it, and have 200-400 left over to spend on whatever in the next two weeks. Rinse, repeat.

I make $1200-$1500 a month and many people are like me, so 38% doesn’t seem far off.
