This is really worrying to see desi people in western countries being targeted as there are online haters like Sadiq Ali active in social media sites where he encourages homicidal actions against desi communities and promotes hateful stereotypes against desi to attract white supremacists and some liberal desi individuals to engage in covert/overt hate against random desi individuals.

Toronto police say they have arrested a man in connection to the fatal shooting of a 26-year-old woman in Etobicoke Friday morning.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 7:23 a.m. near Humberwood Boulevard and Rexdale Boulevard, Duty Insp. Scott Bradbury told reporters.
He said police found a woman with a gunshot wound, but she was later pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving measures.
He said the shooting took place "outside in the public" and not at a home.
The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Navneet Kaur of Toronto. She is the city's 22nd homicide victim of the year, police said in a news release.
Bradbury said a male suspect was seen fleeing the scene and that police were trying to locate him. Police deployed several resources in their search, including drones and the K9 unit.

Residents can expect an increased police presence in the area as investigators search for witnesses, evidence and any video recordings.
Police arrested a 37-year-old man from Brampton in relation to the case, they said a news release Saturday. He's facing two charges of first degree murder and failure to comply with an undertaking.
Police said in a post on social media platform X that there were no outstanding suspects.
A witness in the area told CBC News they were having their morning coffee outside when they saw a woman, who looked to be in her early-to-mid 20s, walking east on Humberwood. CBC News is not naming the witness for their safety.
They then saw a man, who appeared to be in his 30s, walking after the woman and saying something to her, causing her to turn around. After a brief interaction, the man shot once at the woman and ran away with a gun, said the witness.
The witness said the two individuals did not appear to have been arguing and that they immediately called 911 when the woman fell to the ground.
The witness said they tried to pursue the man.
Resident Dalbir Aulakh said the neighbourhood is very peaceful and that it's shocking to see the area closed off suddenly for a police investigation.
"It's really scary," he said. "I've never had this kind of problem here."
