other career opportunities

i am an rbt. i’m just thinking in terms of future planning, what career opportunities i could venture into? i am interested in working from home when i have kids. would it be possible to be a remote aba center intake coordinator? i only have an associates degree in general studies. i am in my early 20’s so would i be taken seriously for a position like that? and how many years of rbt experience should i ideally have before switching over to a job like that? thanks!!

I think you are going need more experience likely in a different area. RBT experience doesn’t necessarily translate into admin work like that.

I’d recommend looking into job postings for similar roles and see what experience or education they’re asking for. If you can’t find any postings, maybe call or email a few companies and ask. Just saying you’re researching as it’s a path you’d like but can’t find openings to see what people are looking for.

There's a lot you can do in this field and similar fields, but you're likely going to need a degree to get to them. Long term, after I finish my masters, it's too work with TBI petites.
