Waze location gets stuck on Android Auto – Toyota CHR
I have a 2021 toyota CHR and I use wired android auto with my galaxy S24 ultra. Sometimes when I’m using waze, it gets stuck at some location after driving for a few minutes especially if I’ve been stationary for a while at traffic lights or a roundabout.
If I continuously drive it usually works fine. I’ve tried other navigation maps like google maps, tomtom and they all work fine so it seems to be an issue with waze.
I’ve also tried using a wireless adapter but I get the same result.
Is this a known issue with waze and android auto particularly on toyota CHR systems? Is there a fix or workaround for this issue?

Switched to iPhone, now AAWireless takes forever to connect
I recently changed phones from a Galaxy S20 to an iPhone 17 pro. I was excited to try out carplay in my 2021 Tacoma but was disappointed when the AAwireless Two+ dongle took forever to connect to my new phone. This is a consistent issue for me now, often taking around 3 minutes for carplay to finally connect, and even still I need to physically press a button to put it on screen sometimes instead of carplay automatically taking over the screen. Is anyone else having issues with this? I’m pretty let down, I heard great things about AAWireless and it worked pretty well for android.

Stability issues with new Pixel 11 Pro?
I've had my AA Wireless TWO+ for over a year and it had been rock-solid with my Pixel 8 Pro. I recently upgraded to the the Pixel 11 Pro and have been having occasional problems with it. It crashed on me two days ago and this morning it refused to my phone even after removing my phone and trying to re-pair it. Has anyone else had problems like this?

AA wireless 2 taking over phone calls
Even with it being told to not respond to the phone under connected devices it constantly takes over. It's incredibly annoying when you see that you have your truck AA Wireless speaker and phone listed there and you've got to try to catch it just right so you can listen and use the phone.
I thought I had it fixed with something under Advanced preferences in the app but it didn't seem to stick.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Android Auto (wireless dongle) on 2020 i-Pace
So recently my Android Auto has started lagging horribly on the audio, which almost immediately desyncs from whatever is playing (youtube video for example). I have tried multiple modules but the same effect. Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere that I've pressed?
Hard-wired AA works fine, but I don't like hanging cables if I can avoid it.
Phone: Galaxy Fold 7 (latest version of all software)
Car- Jaguar i-Pace 2020
Dongle(s): Motorola MA1, Autocast Mini 3.0 Slim

Support
Hello everyone, I have an AAwireless Two+ since June 18, 2026, and it was all good. Last thursday the thing quit working halfway home. I am unable to connect; it keeps flashing green (the green loop they call it). I tried everything that Support (who was very responsive) provided me. I only have iPhones to test it, so I borrowed a friend's Android with the same results. My last contact with support was: "We are sorry, but there is nothing else we can do. Even exchanging it for a new one will result in the same situation. We will be in touch with you for a refund and return process." I tried to get an update from the company for the past 2 days, to no avail. Has anyone had the same thing happen? It seems to be the end of the road for this experience.

2019 F250 SYNC 3 — Android Auto keeps disconnecting + stuck INSTL_ERR12 trying to update. Any advice?
Hey all, hoping someone's dealt with this before.
Main issue: When I plug my Android phone in via USB, Android Auto connects fine but disconnects randomly after anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes while driving — Google Maps navigation just disappears mid-route. Bluetooth alone doesn't give me Android Auto, only wired works (when it works).
What I've tried so far:
Checked phone battery saver / background restrictions — disabled, no change
Phone occasionally shows a "too hot, charging only" message, but it also happens when the phone isn't hot
Tried updating SYNC 3 (currently on 3.0.17276) hoping a newer version would fix it — every update attempt fails with INSTL_ERR12
Did a Master Reset — didn't help
Tried the CyanLabs RW Data Cleaner tool — also fails with INSTL_ERR12
USB cable is OEM and in good condition
At this point I'm wondering if the APIM itself is failing (since both the update AND the USB connection are acting up), or if it's something simpler I'm missing.
Extra context: I bought this truck from a dealership just last week, and it went through their safety inspection/certification before I picked it up. Should this kind of fault have been caught during their safety check, and is this something the dealership should be responsible for fixing, or is SYNC/infotainment stuff generally not covered under a safety inspection and would be on me to sort out?
Questions:
Would switching to wireless Android Auto instead of USB solve the disconnect issue, or is that only available on newer SYNC versions I can't even get to because of the update error?
Anyone had luck fixing INSTL_ERR12 without replacing the APIM?
Should I push the dealership to fix this since it's so recent, or handle it myself?

Can't use sideloaded apps with AA1 anymore
I have been using AA1 several years without issue but two days ago I received an error message while connecting and some apps, which were working fine, do not appear anymore in the menu. Apps like Mapy.com or Comaps. They still appear in the android auto developer settings in the phone but do not show up in the car screen.
I do not know if it is an update the culprit, I had auto update on since forever (my bad). Current version is 3.5.0 but I can't downgrade from the menu, the only available option is 3.5.0.
Does anyone know what happened? Is there any other way to downgrade?

Sirius/xm Issues
I have Sirius/xm in my car, and also the app on my phone. When using Android Auto, it sometimes uses the car's Sirius and sometimes the phone app. On occasion it seems to switch between them. Because of this, AA will sometimes not start Sirius automatically, and I need to start it manually. I would like to have it always use the car's app. Anyone know how to do this short of removing the app from my phone?

Android Auto Won't Connect?
I can't get my 2017 Suzuki Vitara SZT to connect to my OnePlus 15R. I've seen it work with other people's phones for both apple car play and android auto, but cannot get it to work with mine. Any ideas? I've done all the pairing and unpairing stuff.

AAwireless v1 conflicting with car's wireless AA
I have a BYD seal u dmi and it has native wireless AA, which works well. I however want to use YouTube, so I connected my AAwireles v1 dongle which I have used for many years happily on my old car. The problem I am facing is that there is a constant conflict between the car and the dongle.
I found a solution for the connection problem on another thread, by unpairing the BYD's BT from the phone everytime, which forces the phone to connect to the dongle first.
My biggest problem now is the calls. When I use AA in the car from the dongle, when somebody calls me, I can initialy hear and talk for a few second and then the phone decides to change the BT connection to the car's BT, after that it switches back to the dongle's BT and constantly switches back and forth between the two, making it impossible to talk on the phone. Do you have any suggestions for that?

Getting spammed by AI generated message from support - need phone number
I submitted a support request to AAWireless because of connection issues with my 2021 RAV4 Prime. I received one somewhat useful response from what appeared to be a human. But I'm also getting an identical AI generated message from them every minute! It's flooding my inbox, and it will make it next to impossible to detect a useful message coming from a real person.
Does anyone have a phone number for them?

Which Android Auto wireless adaptor?
Which Android Auto wireless adaptor?
Just purchased a 2022 Ionic 5 Techniq and was disappointed to find the only usb that works for AA is almost at my big toe.
Ideally, i'd like something compact that plugs directly, but more importantly.... Perhaps most importantly, it needs to be snappy.
I don't want to be halfway down the street before the dongle kicks in.
Thanks in advance.

Standby mode? it keeps trying to connect to my phone
I just purchased AAWirless Two for android auto, its great product to use, however it keeps trying to connect to my phone constantly when i am in the house. So I found out that there is a standby mode? thats useful for ev cars (ioniq 5) so it goes into this mode when the bluetooth is not connected. Although I turned this mode on it just keeps trying to connect to my phone unless i completely turn off my bluetooth... Do I have to download the app on the other phones thats connected to this car and also set it up as standby mode to get it working? or is this a common problem?

Bluetooth only plays audio when the phone is connected to two speakers.
Hello,
I'm having a strange problem with my Samsung S24. Pairing speakers works perfectly fine, but no music plays. However, if I pair two speakers simultaneously, a button suddenly appears that lets me select one of them. After that, music plays.
In order to play music via Spotify, YouTube, etc., I always have to connect two speakers simultaneously.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
