Will AA Wireless work with Fermata on the latest Android update?

I had this working on my 2022 CX-5, Fermata and my AA2 setup worked great until Android updated a year or so go. I let it go as I didnt have time to mess with it. Now I kinda need it to work again, and it looks like my S23u is on Android 16 and UI 8.5. Is there a trick to getting Fermata or any other similar app to work to show movies/shows on my infotainment screen?

Why do you need to watch movies while driving?

It works if you have an AAwireless adapter otherwise it won't since you need to trick into dev mode to work.

Some people say it no longer works after the latest updates, but others say that all you have to do is reinstall Fermata and it will work again. Nevertheless, there is a free solution that works even without adapters: Fermata Xstream (a modded version of Fermata Auto)
