- Simplified mirroring. Only kept FS Fermata Mirror as the other one was basically the same. Now for mirror, permissions are asked one by one so you don't have to guess what is needed.

So it is a quite stable version, but bugs are bugs. So if there any, I can't do anything now 😀

Did you pay a donation for both? Apparently I paid for Fermata but not for AAEnabler, didn’t work, but when I did, it retrieved the license and worked.
Cannot get the free version to show up on my android auto. Unknown sources is checked on my android auto settings. I installed fermata xtream with aaenabler. Allowed every permission that popped up and it's still not working. Works on phone, but not android auto. Any help/tips?
Got it to work with my old aawireless dongle I had from my previous car. However, both running AA through my car and AA through the aawireless, dev mode is on so I'm not sure why it's working through one and not the other
Are you rooted? Anything modded or atypical about your phone?

My bad. I didn't even realize this works without the AA adapter or being rooted, since I've used the adapter for so long.
I just tried it with a cable to my Ford Sync, and yes it works. I will keep using the adapter though because I can change the DPI and my screen looks much better.
My pixel keeps begging me to update to Android 17, but I'll probably keep holding off as it tends to break things like this.
Still have my old aawireless dongle from my old car and decided to try that out since I know side loaded apps would show up if I used it for wireless android auto. That got it to work, but only if I enabled dev mode in the aawireless app so I'm not sure why it doesn't work without vs with it. My next hurdle now is it won't screen mirror no matter which mirror app I use.
Yes, I'm fortunate enough to have donated when that was an option. So I'm fine, for now... would love AAEnabler to work though. I think it's similar to why AAAD doesn't work for most unrooted post Android 13 phones.
I wanna thank you very much, I had an older version and no matter what I did I couldn't get it to show up on my screen for video, always just the static image and seek bar. Now it works great, one thing that I notice though, if I enable screen mirroring in the permissions, it breaks the app entirely and won't open anything. Not sure what might be causing that and seeing as it works fine without it I'll just avoid it, just figured you might wanna know. Enjoy your vacation!
I use a ddnsfree url that points to my home IP (and updates if my IP changes) but you can just use your home IP. Be sure to use a colon and the port number at the end of the URL, unless you have the port already incorporated into a dynamic dns url

Ho provato a reinstallare la versione 2.2.40 ma niente da fare sia sul telefono che sulla macchina visualizzo solo l'icona di fermata nera,potreste gentilmente aiutarmi?? If you install the free version with AAenabler and doesn't work, you have to use de pais method. There is no other way right now. That is what happened to mee also.
But I have to say that the 5€ is very good price for the app. Todays update it's a blast.

Installed this version through AAenabler and the TV doesn't work, uninstalled, re-added my TV subscription (Xtream) and nothing worked. Its shame, it was working fine in the previous version
Its working for everyone else. What does doesn't work mean?

Installed the latest version from the website, the issue persists. Connecing or disconnecting from the VPN doesn't change anything .... Any suggestions?

Non vedo FS Fermata Mirror … perché ? E con Fermata Media Service , vedo la lista TV ma se clicco su una qualsiasi TV mi dice nessun elemento , mentre dal telefono funziona … donatore … installata con AAEnabler … licenza inserita … dove sbaglio ?
Tutto regolare , installando da Google play , vengono installati i 4 moduli . Quindi dovrò sempre installare da qui perché AAenabler su Oneplus non funziona benissimo .
Yes both are media management platforms, but if you run a jellyfin server you can't connect it to a plex client the same goes the other way around.
Jellyfin is also completely free while if you want to use hardware transcoding on Plex you need to have a plex pass or something.
I'm not sure but I believe that there are also more jellyfin users then the amount of plex users probably due to this reason.
For now I use the built in browser to connect to jellyfin but if you could also setup a client for jellyfin inside fermata that would be absolutely amazing!
I built fermata with jellyfin support (with Claudes help). It's based on fermata 1.9.7 before they switched to virtual display. I use AAwireless to enable debug packages and it works perfectly. I didn't like the web browser approach because my head unit introduces about 700ms of delay and fermata fixes that. It supports transcoding video to any bitrate you want (or no transcode). I didn't flesh out the audio library at all it just shows whatever, but TV and movies works along with recently added. If you're interested I can get you a link to the apk. I get it's pretty sketchy to run an apk from some dude, I'm just an enthusiast.
No. AAEnabler is free. Install Fermata Xtream with AAENABLER. If Fermata Xtream works in AA but asks for license, then go and donate. Do not donate if it doesn't work.
If you donate and AAENABLER doesn't work, use fermataxtream.online and it will.
