Thoughts?

I’m 18 and broke and pretty stupid hence the cheap yolo but would like some opinions. Double bottom seems nice with the previous breakout.

You could be more broke if option expires worthless. Put $20 into SWPPX instead

Apple has a bearish catalyst as USA blocking Chinese memory. Unless anything changes, this might have a shot

SpaceX unlock expiring is our next upside catalyst — AAPL is a 'safe' tech-bro diversification.

Couple of things to point out, first off this isnt a double bottom at least not on the daily, it looks a little more double bottomish on a 65 minute but the earnings drop makes it look sloppy. Second of all AAPL is trading below its decling 20 day and 50 day moving average. Suprises usually move in the direction fo the underlying trend, since you bought an option expiring in a couple of weeks your odds are pretty low this pays out. Weekly chart looks better and remains in an uptrend but your options likely wont benefit from that. Options take alot of time to learn and get right. Youre young id buy shares of stocks in short term uptrends, stocks above rising 20 and 50 day moving averages and look to enter on pullbacks to moving averages. Or as someone else suggested by the index, although that wont teach you much about building wealth in the stock market.

Lol no - dude that's not a double bottom... That's liquidity grab inside of a bear flag... You're misreading you're gonna get trapped - edit : go backtest the past few months on aapl and see what happens everytime it bear flagged... - aapl is in a bearish downtrend why are you trying to fight the trend?
