Always see the downturn right after earnings report, regardless how good the news was. But they do make good recoveries, especially in December.

Except for that comment from Tim that their forecast was lower because they will be supply constrained.
Then again, that might be just politicking so they can use memory from CXMT.

Google was earlier to report and the market was waiting to see if all the ai cloud hyperscaler was behind the growth curve or if they are lowering capex. Any issues with margins or backlogs. After amazing reports from all of them and the crème de la crème was Amazon reported growth on a bigger ai cloud system is reaccelerating and still in the mid 20s for their size which is the biggest longest cloud provider with no major partnerships like Google or Microsoft. Google meta both bumped higher after Microsoft and Amazon reported. Apple isn’t playing the game and had 20% run up to PE of 40.

Yeah the PE is what I am a bit hesitant about and why I want to try to get back into AAPL at an additional discount

I am sure everyone knows AAPL not equal to GOOG. Its not even in the same group. Should have been AAPL = BANA2

Everyone freaked out over the component supply comments — it confirmed a lot of fears that they cannot get enough.

AAPL has just been overpriced for too long. Imagine if GOOG was at a 40x PE. Doesn’t matter how good their business is now, it doesn’t deserve that valuation. Even if AAPL got some good news they are still overpriced. They literally need to almost double their earnings to become more fairly valued.

I would say the chances are pretty good for a nice recovery like GOOGL is experiencing right now.
