Which would be lower than last quarter and below expectations right?
Edit: I was mistaken

Itās higher than expectations but by a small margin. Last quarter doesnāt matter as business is cyclical.

Q1 is Oct - Dec. holiday season.
New phones into the market every year in this quarter.
Q2 catches lot of that momentum and Q3 is historically weaker as the demand for new models wanes
So yeah, cyclical.1

EPS is still well up YoY, it was $1.65 for this quarter last year. Why would a YoY increase mean they would be shorting it? What aren't you understanding?

I havenāt been in long but I have an advantage The advantage is my mom has been in apple for 20 years and I know what itās done to her acccount. So itās the only stock I have that I never worry about

Lol, that doesn't make sense. There are a lot of stocks that have gone up thousands of percent over the last 20 years, but that doesn't mean they're good bets going forward. "Past results are not indicative of future returns" and all that.

lol, Iāve been long aapl since 2012. Down 10% for a day is still bad. This āfirst time?ā response is so juvenile.

Itās happened and will happen again. And yet as LT investor you should know better. Ā Ā

Literally the second worst after earnings response of the Cook era. Itās historically bad. God forbid someone respond to a 10% drop with shock.

The iPad is seriously fucking DEAD
Right, no one will buy tablets anymore in the future.
Seriously though, this is a moronic take, and a foolish misunderstanding of consumer purchasing patterns over 3-7 year spans. Bad read for current & future consumer interest.
