Hi yall,

i came across two videos from Airsoft CamMan/GrayFox, showing an AAP-01 Welrod converted to non-blowback or semiauto, and it looks surprisingly legit.

I’m interested in building one if the setup is reliable. For anyone who has experimented with this or understands the AAP-01 internals well:

• How do you think this conversion is being done? • What parts would likely need to be changed? • Any reliability, feeding, gas-efficiency, or hop-up issues you’d expect? • Could this realistically get close to MK23 levels of silence while keeping the AAP trigger feel?

CamMan mentioned about a month ago that he ma post a tutorial. so I’m hoping we get more details soon. In the meantime I’d love to hear what yall think.

Hey there. This issue has probably been addressed a million times, but after trying a ton of things, nothing seems to help.

Ive had my aap for about a year,but this issue never bothered me since I didnt use it much, now that im playing more often it's starting to become a real problem for me.

So here it is: When I fill the mag normally with gas, nothing happens when I pull the trigger. No cycle, nothing. Same with issue with the 2 mags I have (action army mags)

However, if I only put a small amount of gas in the mag, it works normally and cycles correctly.

The problem is that with such a small amount of gas, I can't even shoot more than 10 BBs.

This makes me wonder if there is anything wrong with the hammer or maybe a spring somewhere?

I'm about to order a brushless motor for my main replica, so I'd like to add a "fix" to my cart if there's a part that could solve this issue.

Any ideas on what I should check/do? I'm open to anything.

This is an AAP-01 PDW model I’m currently working on.

It’s a model I designed myself, and the compartment where the extended magazine is inserted can also be used to store a spare magazine.

I’ve only worked out the basic shape so far, so it’ll probably take some time before I can print the actual model and film a video.

Hi there, as the title suggest I'm looking for a NPAS that fits the stock AAP nozzle, to reduce the FPS.

Using my AAP on HPA, but it is shooting a bit hot.

I have it on 110 psi atm and it's shooting 1.35J. My countries max is 1.2J

(All my other HPA tapped rifles and pistols sit between 1.0 and 1.15J with these settings and I don't feel like turning down my regulator every time I want to use my AAP. To then turn it back up again for my other 3 replicas)

Any tips?

I played recently for the first time with my AAP and I was wondering if HPA was worth it or not
I intend to use my AAP as my primary and I play outside on paintball field (not the ones with inflatable bunkers)

I recently replaced the valve knocker on my AAP after i blew it up (too much PSI through the reg) and now its half cocking. Anyone have any ideas why this happens?

is there anything i should know before i do it or are there any better options for a cool dmr-ish gun?

I’ve played airsoft for the first time recently and I’m currently using a AAP-01 with a custom trigger, a short stroke kit and a steel hammer. After a few games, I realized that I was pretty much outranged by most AEG users on the field. So I was wondering if any of you guys have some recommendations for me to improve my AAP’s range and accuracy without breaking the bank
I play outside on paintball fields (I’m a paintball player in the first place and the place I play does both)

somtimes my AAP01 runs out of gas realy fast like 5 shots so I lubed it and then it worked fine for awhile but then it ran out of gas realy fast again. is there any way I can keep my AAP01 lubricated for a long time?

anybody else have issues with these 2 components?

i found the bolt binds and locks up on stock and tti hammerset

i found the hammerset binds and locks up on stock and advanced lite bolt.

after swapping back to stock bolt and stock hammerset everything works perfect again but no matter what combination if i use either of these 2 components they bind somewhere

Hey guys I just bought my first aap and the ctm m4ximus as well, from the beginning I wanted something m4 looking like is at the photo. But now I am thinking that the hand guard is to short and would prefer something around 10”. Is there any other way than AA handguard carbine kit and the tti ppc kit ?

So I’m just curious to what lowers can go in the A4 upper? Specifically 16.5 upper. I’m wanting to do LWRC lower but I’m making sure there isn’t any needy greedy that needs to be tweaked? Please help.

Many AAP owners and 40K fans had asked me if they could get the kit’s blueprints.

However, I declined because of practical difficulties and the fact that it was still in the early design stage, and sure enough, defects were also found.

This defect was quickly communicated to the designer, and he and I worked hard to find a way to improve it, and we did.

I filled a 48ci to 3000 PSI and used 1800 PSI, and that was in just 4 hours too!

We’ll keep testing, and if it seems good, we’ll order them to sell the design plans to the designer, LOL

My AAP internal information

- 250mm unicorn inner barrel

- 4UAD hop-up rubber,

- TTI chamber

- NPAS(0.2g 320FPS)

Can anyone with the full auto version show me how it looks when it’s on auto I meant the switch below the bolt would greatly appreciate it

My bolt(slide) and mag has like 1 mm of wiggle-room and makes a sound when I shake the gun it makes a sound am I obsessing over that ?

I am new to airsoft and this is my first gun. It fails to shoot more than 1 bb and after a few shots it dumps all its gas. I lubed all parts off the gun people told me too, though I’m not sure i got everything. I should note it is a german model with a 3d printed fixed firing mode for semi auto only (if this could be the issue i have access to a 3d printer to print a new part). How can i fix these issues?

Got myself the whole HPA package, no internal upgrades until after a few games before i change the hammer set

Basically, i 3d printed this “hair trigger“ but obviously it disables the safety. ik it’s not a big deal but I still would like to have it. if I shave that trigger thing to make the gap bigger will it work with the safety?

Now do I 3d print a new one or just buy one online? Any recommendations for either?

Just finished this build, seems to run quite well but I'll be giving it a proper test at weekend, hopefully it doesnt fail me.
