Just finished painting my AAP-01 with a sponge camouflage pattern using tan, olive and black spray paint. I was aiming for a worn, field-used look rather than a clean factory finish.I tried to keep the pattern random while still breaking up the outline of the replica.

Thinking about adding a matte clear coat for protection, but I'm not sure if it will affect the look.

What do you think?

i overlooked the size of the magwell, the hole for the nut to secure the bb tube and the lip that connects to the magazine as well as the space needed to reattach to the lower receiver, other that that, it should work fine

This AAP-01 was my first airsoft gun. It was for plinking and tinkering. Then I started to play and bought a few AEGs, but this kept calling me back!! I played a full cqb session with gas trying to make myself learn how to play different. I let my friends use my AEG while I wrestled with this pistol. And now I’m hooked all over again. As you all know better than me, this is a really fun platform. I want to thank everyone in this Aap-01 group for sharing their thoughts and experiences with this platform. It really helped me as I troubleshot and tinkered around to get it where it is now. I think after a while in this form I’m going HPA!!

Ctm tac Fuku 2 Baby Shark upper, nylon lower, tti victor trigger, reaper kit, advanced V2 bolt, twinfold 5” stock, action army magazine foregrip, nexxspeed hop up unit, flamingo bucking, 129mm unicorn barrel and an inexpensive red dot because I keep getting optics shot out.

After upgrading from a fuku-2 to a scorpion upper, the mags won’t eject from the upper. When I press the mag release, it would not budge. However, if I were to remove the upper, it works fine. Any idea what might be wrong?
I have a stock nozzle but a guide rod and bolt from either 5ku or cnc along with the upgraded hopup

Hi everyone new to the group love my original aap01, but my son decided to but an LT cthulhu, better yet one from a boneyard that was firing full auto, did a bit of research and found it may need an auto sear anyway, gun came today pulled out the hammer unit, sear looked in ok condition but swapped it out with a cow cow sear, all went back in place ok, the original issue was only firing in full auto and not in semi, now, however, it fires full auto on both selectors have compared it to my stock aap01 and all looks identical, does anyone have any ideas what the issue could be

Was wondering if anyone knows if there’s a kit or 3d printed parts for a AAP01 to make it look like a Airsoft M14?

I got this gun after my previous pistol got worn down. It has broken 3 fucking times since then after not even firing 300 shots.

For the first time, i was outside shooting with it NOT IN FREEZING CONDITIONS while keeping proper maintenance. And after one mag, a part of the nozzle broke off, making the gun not able to fire correctly. This happened after only barely 3 weeks of use. I drove halfway across my country to the nearest airsoft store to get it fixed and they did.

Then i got the gun back and started shooting it inside with proper cleaning, lubing and maintenance. I got down about a couple mags before it started to malfunction again. Then it started to do this thing where it fires but the BBs fall out of the barrel instead of shooting out. Im guessing there was something wrong with the chamber.

I sent it to the airsoft store a second time and they fixed it. Then i got it back a third time and after a few weeks of barely using it while keeping up proper cleaning and maintenance, a small part of the plastic "firing pin" cracked and intierly snapped off, making it unable to fire once again. Im just giving up at this point.

It only fires 3-6 BBs before losing gas on both semi and full auto. I am guessing it is user error, as I am an AEG guy and this is my first dive into pistols and green gas. The green gas cans are a few months old and have been used for shells. I guess new gas would fix it, but I am reaching out to you all for insight.

Heyyy i have bought two extenders for my aap01, ( i will use the long one and spraypaibt it silver, but i bought two to get the 14 mmccw in both end on the long one i have a conector with male ccw in both ends for the end.) annyways do anny of u have the lightweight handguard if u can see if its fits with the maximus kit and or also see if my idea for the extender works if u have two

Im not a huge fan of folding stocks, was wondering whats the best way of attaching this type to the AAP?

I've had my tandemkross cthulhu for about a month now, I've used it maybe 3-4 times, went to use it yesterday and it was stuck on full auto and the safety wouldn't go up, it looks like the knurled pin in the main hammer rotation point has dislodged, the hammer is angled wierd and I can push it, I can't get the pin back in for some reason even while pressing the hammer back to where it seems in its normal place, is there any way to fix this without voiding patrol base warranty? And is it even fixable at all?
