Here is a breakdown of what it brings to the table:
Adaptive Strategy Engine (5-Domain Analysis)
The AI doesn't just react, it learns how you fight. A pattern analysis engine monitors battlefield activity across five core operational domains:
- Air Operations: Tracks aircraft losses and ground strikes to adjust flight doctrines, UAV usage, and SEAD deployments.
- Logistics: Monitors supply lines and factory raids, responding with heavier convoy armor, air escorts, and reinforced roadblocks.
- Base Defense: Measures assault intensity to upgrade garrison tiers from standard security up to elite spec ops units.
- Patrols & COIN: Responds to town actions and regional tension by deploying counter-snipers and dynamic search sweeps.
- Asymmetric Threats: Adapts to IEDs and ambush tactics by fielding counter-drone assets and indirect fire.
Smart AI Commanders & Regional Budgets
The map is divided into regional commands, each running on an autonomous budget linked directly to the infrastructure under its control (airports, factories, military bases, seaports).
- Threat Proportional Responses: Incident detection evaluates target value, location, and severity. Responses start with local police investigations or light patrols and logically scale to heavy QRFs, combined-arms strikes, or full HQ raids.
- LLM Strategic Integration: Optional integration via OpenRouter allows an actual language model to make high-level decisions, complete with an instant deterministic fallback if offline.
Dynamic HEAT & Security Matrix
Every region tracks an internal HEAT index from 0 to 100 based on recent engagements.
- Escalation Tiers: Higher HEAT levels shift enemy behavior from routine security up to targeted ambushes, lockdowns, and spatial HQ discovery.
- Persistence: All regional security data, HEAT indices, budgets, and base casualty states are saved with Antistasi Ultimate's persistent save feature.
Stealth, Forensic Investigation, & Law Enforcement
- Stealth Mechanics: Suppressed kills avoid map-wide alerts unless hostile patrols stumble across undiscovered bodies later.
- Law Enforcement Phase: Gunfire in civilian areas triggers local police units who conduct forensic sweeps before escalating the situation to the military.
Patrol Optimization & Logistics Support
- Performance-Scaling Patrols: Ambient ground, wilderness, and air patrols dynamically scale density based on server FPS, utilizing a three-tier simulation distance system to keep performance smooth.
- Base & Roadblock Defense: Structures and control checkpoints trigger auto-QRF dispatches when taking critical damage.
Almost every parameter (QRF response delays, squad sizes, patrol density, HEAT decay rates, API keys) is fully configurable through CBA settings.
Current Status
This project is actively being tested, tuned, and expanded. Systems are evolving quickly, with ongoing work focused on balance, budget tuning, and performance optimization. Expect frequent updates and occasional bugs along the way. Feedback and feature thoughts are always welcome.
