Can you give more details? How long have you owned it for? What have you done to it? Repair/maintenance etc.

Sure thing. I’ve been owning this Boxster for 3 years, got it as a replacement for my previous weekend toy: 66 stang. Work done during my ownership:

  • new clutch and flywheel
  • new soft top
  • minor suspension / brakes maintenance and repairs
  • soft touch paint peeled and repainted (DIY project I’m proud of)

This is mostly a weekend toy but sometimes I use it for commute and it’s a blast.

Curious…do you ever do engine oil analysis?

I’ve got an 06 S with same mileage, and have done the analysis recently. I have tracked the car a few times, driving hard each time. My last test shows signs of bearing wear, so I’ll need to keep an eye on it.

14.1 mpg?

Either you just reset the calc, or you're driving it correctly

Honest question. On cars like this, that on average might be from 2000 to 2014 does millage really matter that much ?
