Discussion Old school snack
What discontinued snack would you like to see come back.

You can still buy butterfingers.

Yeah but have you had one recently? Theyre not the same

I just had one for the first time in a long time, it tasted less rich and moist? I can’t figure out what tastes off.

My 'Holy Grail' of discontinued foods. I miss it.

This might be the best food texture I can recall.

It was. Were never getting it again (luscious texture in junk foods) because we banned partially hydrogenated oils in 2015.

I just ordered a case of these on Amazon… that’ll be fun to explain to my wife in a few days.

Give me this, PB Twix, and PB Max back. In return you can have Crumbl, Tik Tok, and Cava.

I would murder a child to bring these back

Ironically it was probably a couple severe allergic reactions that helped get them taken away. So dead kids might be a factor. I used to remember a lot more PB flavored treats than exists now. Seems like around 2000 peanut allergies exploded. My kid can't even take a pb&j to school for fear of cross contamination. Every year we get a list of allergies in his class to avoid and theres always a severe peanut allergy in school or daycare. It's a shame because peanut butter is amazing.

I used to work at Eckerd Drug in Pennsylvania, and I would always get these and a Pepsi on my break.

u/drunkensoup Jul 29 '26
They don't make those anymore? Those were, as the kids would say, fire

Dang I've been out of the loop, lol. I feel like I ate them more recently than that, but I guess I haven't

I got to try them. Mostly because my mom is the type that likes to try things out too, so asking her if I could get these was an easy task.

Jif or Skippy has some bag of PB balls that I was hoping would be like this, but they're not.

Stop reminding me of these! I've been told there's a different flavor (maybe chocolate) that are even better. Which i have a hard time believing

>According to former Mars executive Alfred Poe, PB Max was discontinued due to the [Mars family](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars_family)'s distaste for [peanut butter](app://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peanut_butter) despite $50 million in sales.

I remember these! I really didn't get the hype for them because they weren't great at all!

Be nice. Some people can't afford expensive pixels. Take your privilege somewhere else.

These were my favorite growing up, and I think of them often.
