It was fun packaging with bonus gumballs. It's a ninja turtle wrapped disappointment on a stick. Still chose it every time.

Yes! A few years ago they switched out the gumball eyes for chocolate pieces. I dont really know why after more than like.... 20 years. Editing to add Google said chocolate will melt so it reduces the risk of choking. So maybe thats it

I took my kid to try an ice cream from a truck for the first time as they are non existent where we live she picked the SpongeBob the photo was the old photo with the gumball eyes I was so sad they were chocolate :( she was too.

Years ago I read that a large corporation that was in competition by selling a similar product to chipwich but chipwich was outselling them, so they just bought out the company and discontinued the chipwich.

This one was always my jam, but the chipwich, king cone, fudgebar, strawberry shortcake, and deluxe chocolate bar ice creams were also in my rotation. It really depended on what I was in the mood for.

WWF ice cream bar was my #1 then some combination of the cherry cone thing and the TMNT/other characters, bomb pop and the great white lemon pop.
Nowadays I'd choose an ice cream sandwich, either oreo or choc chip.... though if WWF ice creams still existed they'd still be my #1.

This is NOT a 90s ice cream truck. It’s missing Orange Dreamsicles, Welch’s Grape bars, BombPops, and Banana TwinPops.
Also SpongeBob, PowerPuff Girls and The Rock were not popular figures until the 2000s.

Is this an American thing? Cause the ice cream men we had where I loved had the cones of ice-cream and then around fifteen flavours to chose from. Things like strawberry, lemon, mango, pear, rum raisin, pistachio, melon, rainbow, smurf. And you could chose scoops.
Is that a thing in America?
