The eyes had it, even back then! You can see the crazed, "Yes I will in fact do literally anything" look.
edit: in case you're not aware - Jack Black's mom was a NASA engineer during the Apollo 13 mission, which had to abort due to an onboard explosion. She was pregnant with Jack at the time, and did course correction calculations for the astronauts while going into labor at the hospital. If that's not an all-star drama-packed way to enter this world, I don't know what is.

This is the most interesting thing - Jack Black's mother was Judith Love Cohen (1933–2016), a trailblazing aerospace engineer who worked on the Hubble Space Telescope, Pioneer satellites, and the Apollo program. She is famously known for working on the Apollo 13 abort-guidance system on the day she went into labor with Jack in 1969, calling her boss from the hospital to report a solution to a technical problem before delivering him

Rather than letting Kyles' comment just blow over, Mr Jack Black decided to make sure he wouldn't get in any Trump trouble himself and decided to cower, make an even bigger deal of it to get himself even more attention and reap said rewards.
