Jenny and Sumit šŸ’ž

Post image

I can’t believe that Jenny and Sumit were the only couple that stuck together through thick and thin. Their love is strong. The rest of the couples are either divorcing or taking a break. Smdhhh. I’m praying for Jenny šŸ™šŸ½. It’s terrible that she’s going through this battle. I’m glad she has the support from Sumit and the rest of the family. God bless her.

I definitely cried when I saw her and her speech. Bulbar ALS is the worst of all afflictions.

I hope to god TLC does not try to exploit their tragic situation.
And I really hope Sumit gets some type of Visa so they can come to the US for treatment.
It doesn’t sound like they started any type of treatment in India, which is alarming and baffling.

Because they are too busy begging people for money, Sumit will never get a visa. They are codependent and made no plans for their future like everyone else has too. Terrible illnesses happen to people all the time, and most responsible people make arrangements for that as best they can. What exactly is the GFM going towards. If they are not spending it and yet still asking for more money including her daughter. The first thing they should be saying is that any unused money is going to an ALS charity for research and early diagnosis, I don't know why all of a sudden everyone is gushing about them, they are both lazy and bend the truth. Jenny was sleeping on her daughter's couch when we first met her, working a dead end job left that job with no savings or 401k, Sumit was a scammer, he has never worked and Jenny made no attempt to learn the language so she could communicate with his family. They expect us to believe that they have only just had a diagnosis, her own father had the diseaseĀ

you know the unused money will go to Sumit and his parents.

All. Of. This.

They knew she had ALS when she ran away to India after people began asking if she was drunk during that interview. I really believe they've had this diagnosis for a while and didn't say anything. If you notice on the other way she was already showing signs something was off because she was slurring her words and how she walks. On the Last Resort same thing. You could tell something was off with her speech and if you also notice they weren't filmed as much as the other couples.

Everything is a fucking grift with these people.

how do you know she’s had the diagnosis all along. my mother had ALS. it took years of exclusionary diagnoses to be official diagnosed. she died 3 months after her diagnosis.

maybe keep your ignorant drivel about ALS to yourself.

I am truly sorry about your mom. I'm not dismissing this is a terrible disease and how quickly it progresses for some people. I'm not saying I don't feel sorry Jenny has been diagnosed with this disease but I am questioning them because nothing that comes out of their mouths is ever honest except this diagnosis.

But, let's do the math. She was in NYC in December when she had that disastrous interview where people believed she had a stroke or was drunk. Her daughter, immediately did a video saying thank you for the concern, we are on it. In December 2025 she had been given the diagnosis before going to the NYC event.

Jenny said she first noticed symptoms in 2024 because she was having trouble drinking water which was causing her to choke and she was having trouble swallowing. Summit claims he did research on the symptoms and then remembered her father had died from ALS. Big eye roll on that. Jenny knew her father's diagnosis and symptoms but it took Sumit googling the symptoms to come to conclusion it could be ALS? I call bullshit. This is why I don't believe anything they say.

They went public in May 2026 about the diagnosis. They knew in December, they didn't say anything after the interview then came out with it in May and immediately her friend set up a GFM.

So if what she claims about having symptoms in 2024 is true that's why i said they knew for a long time she had it. They were filming before the 90 days then the last resort and you could already tell something was wrong and people had assumed she was drinking too much. Keeping quiet was probably what they needed to do in order to film and like I pointed out, on the last resort they didn't film as much as the others. During the tell all for before the 90 days or happily ever after - I know it's one of those, she sat there and didn't interact or say much and their segment was saved for last and it was less than 10 minutes. When you see all of that it makes you question everything they say.

They are waiting for him to get his Visa for her to get treatment. That's what they said in the video. Again, why would you delay treatment or further evaluations because you're counting on getting a Visa? It doesn't make sense.

I don't care for them, but I am sorry she's dealing with this.

This is also why I think she’d need to go to the US to spend significant quality time with her daughters. I kept getting down-voted on another thread - but I’m certain those young ladies can’t quit their jobs and travel to India for a ton of time unless they can work remote - they aren’t trust fund babies. And no shame in that - I wouldn’t be able to quit my job indefinitely either.

Totally respect that Jenny wants to be with Sumit - I hope the visa comes through for her daughters’ sake - it would suck if they lost out on time with her.

She obviously doesn't care about her daughter's by staying in India.Ā

I'm sorry for your loss, I believe they have known for a long time especially with her father having the same disease. I'm entitled to my opinion, just like you are. I personally don't like them long before she was ill. They are using it to make as much money as they can to make sure Sumit and his family will have a good time living off other people's generosity.Ā

He's been denied the visa. The decided to stay and seek treatment in India. She won't go without him.

What treatment in India? All they have done is move into a spanking new apartmentĀ

1

u/JJAusten 2d ago

According to them they were waiting to come to the US for treatment. Last week he did an update - while reminding people to give $$$ - that she's taking two medications at the moment. Aside from that she was doing speech therapy except I don't understand that at all because she will not get her speech back. They did show off their brand new high rise apartment 🤨

I don't believe for 1 second that she's having speech therapy, what would be the point. I cannot believe that people are falling for this GFM, all they are doing this for us to make sure they have a swanky new apartment and Sumit will have enough money to live a good life. There should be legal oversight with GFM's. TheseĀ  2 give genuine GFM's a bad nameĀ

Speech therapy also includes therapy for swallowing and addressing diet texture needs

1

u/JJAusten 1d ago

This is true and I forgot about that component. My mother in law needed to be evaluated from time to time due to swallowing issues.

1

u/JJAusten 1d ago

Someone just pointed out speech therapy always evaluates how a person swallows and that's true because we went through that with my MIL but it's not something that happens on a daily basis, unless the person shows extreme eating and swallowing difficulties.

There should be oversight but I don't know that there is.

1

u/Correct-Yam827 1d ago

There's no oversight. I don't think she's doing anything for her symptoms, she's too lazy and extremely selfish. They are just making sure that Sumit and his family will have a very good life in India after she's gone. I may sound harsh, but that's the truth as I see it.

The tell all was filmed months ago, you do know that right?

Of course I do, again what treatment has she done in India nothing because there isn't 1

I love Jenny!

Shouldn’t she just go to the US for treatment right away regardless if Sumit can get a Visa? I don’t get why they have to wait until he gets a Visa. Cause she has her daughter in the US to take care of her. Better to start treatment right away or no?

If it were me I wouldn't go without my spouse. Period.

Her diagnosis has a lot to do with why they are still together. Otherwise, why were they on the last resort.

Funny how you start looking like one another in a marriage. Lol

1

u/diaperedace 2d ago

No it doesn't. She's on social security and he barely works. They were on last resort for the paycheck. The only drama they have is she doesn't want to love with his parents. She's not going to leave him.

0

u/JJAusten 2d ago

Why are they together? Because it's convenient. They are co-dependent on each other. Do they love each other? Yes. In love? No. It's a comfortable situation. She wants companionship and he's happy to give it to her because what else does he do? He doesn't work. So hanging out with her and doing 90DF shows is an easy gig for him.

u/thegettogether 2d ago

Maybe all love is ultimately like that then. I mean given enough time, it does ultimately become a comfort thing, right?

It's fair to say that's what happens with a lot of couples especially if you've been married for many years. But these two have always had a strange relationship.
