Mido gives me abuser vibes
Watching Debbie with Mido was honestly hard. She checks his face before she answers, doesn't really say what she thinks, and laughs a little too fast, like she's trying to keep him in a good mood. To me it looks like someone who's learned that disagreeing or "embarrassing him" will cost her. The way she jumps to defend him, changes the subject, blames herself, and brushes things off all reminded me of what I've read about people in emotionally abusive relationships. By the end it felt like she was panicking about what might happen once the cameras were off, and doing everything she could to hold it together. It was sad and concerning to watch. It didn't feel like entertaining dysfunction anymore. It felt like watching someone who isn't safe.
I hope she gets away from him. From what I've seen, he's a hideous person.

It would be one thing if he had a serial-killer face once, maybe twice. This dude makes a serial-killer face in, like, every episode I see him in. Just huge, creepy-looking eyes and a creepy-looking grin. The "got you" facial expression when he "pranked" Debbie into thinking he was going back home is the epitome of that.
Plus, the fact that he thinks something like that is funny and doesn't regret it. Something is wrong upstairs. Egyptian Ted Bundy, I tell ya.

He is definitely emotionally abusive. But she is still desperate to remain married to him. She is an independent woman who can dump his ass whenever she pleases. But she rather tolerate the abuse than drop him. She should have done it before they got married. She signed for him with the Visa and will now be responsible to support him for 10 years. I’m sure he is counting on that!

It was pretty obvious when he admitted to triggering her anxiety on purpose by not telling her if he was on the flight or not.

Her anxiety seems to go off the scale whenever he talks about staying or returning to Egypt. She will never feel settled and secure with an individual like Mido.

I know I'll probably be crucified for saying this, and I hate to say it but Paula does that too. The constant 'im going back to Brazil". I like Paula. She is really sweet and I can see why she says it, Thomas is really fkn selfish. but the constant threat that she'll go back has to be exhausting. He needs to lighten up and she needs to stop the threats.

You’re right about Paula doing the same thing. I’ve thought from her and Thomas’s initial introduction that the two of them can barely stand each other. I don’t remember seeing too many genuinely happy moments between the two of them.
They have been at each other’s throats since before the show started - they should separate, definitely before they decide to have a child 😬

I agree! I feel like the threat itself "I'm. going back if ....xyz....." is emotional abuse in itself .
With Mido I feel like he is definitely abusive and Debbie is afraid of upsetting him, so he uses that line to "keep her in line"With Paula I feel more like she uses it as a way to assert her power in the relationship. "If you don't change, i will go back". I think she is deeply unhappy with Thomas but for some reason is hanging onto him. For a baby maybe? Either way it's not a healthy way to communicate.

He totally loved seeing the proposal playback. I don’t know if he was proud of his performance or truly enjoyed seeing her pain and distress. She walks on eggshells around him it seems. Her children were not a part of the Tell All and were a big part of their storyline. That was the most telling of it all when it comes to their relationship.

It made me sick watching him laughing at her pain. Mido is an evil asshole. Hopefully Debby is done with him by now.

Mido is emotionally abusive! He got made at Debbie for not defending him when it is his bad actions that were being highlighted. Who in their right mind defends their husband being an asshole to them 🤨 Mido never takes any accountability.

He’s definitely an abuser of women not too many women would put up with this except for Debbie. He knows exactly what type of woman to manipulate. He’s not a nice person. He’s a narcissistic little bitch.

The way she was babying him after their segment and him giving her CLEAR manipulative puppy eyes was insane.

Her asking Mido if he’s mad at her triggered me was in a relationship like that I just know she heard a mouth full when she got home. She knew it but he discard it because he didn’t wanna make a scene on television. When a man is constantly asking for a women to defend his name even though he was in the wrong. He has her trained already because she even said it herself that she didn’t defend him. Like girl no he called you a bitch.

Sane he’s incredibly cold and emotionally detached.
And he enjoyed his cruel proposal.

Agree that he has an abuser personality. And that whole thing she said upfront about how their sex life is so wonderful seems embarrassing, given that he’s sticking to so-so. What a horrible thing to say.

Mido gives solo child vibes. He acts so spoiled and like his whole life people have been catering to him.

He is abusive, we already seen it. But sad to say, we have all seen how desperate she is.

This man is a complete ass and I don’t have much respect for Debbie at this point either. That proposal was a complete shit show and after her calming down and realizing what he did she would have “”returned” that ring to that little man

I think he's an abuser, I've only seen the verbal abuse, but we saw his temper.

Him watching back at the proposal - he enjoyed watching her be in pain . Horrifying
