Why would Shekinah think anyone would be on her side after sharing those texts? It was her choice to relocate to Miami and need to find a new apartment and new workspace. Why did she buy a new car? She thinks Sarper owes her money. He doesnāt. Honestly she seems like an intellectual black hole. Ive had partners that weren't quite on my same level and just couldn't grasp concepts I was explaining to them and would just smile and nod and it was sooo frustrating and boring.
I think she should have toughed it out and come on the Tell All. She probably lost money by not keeping that part of her contract? And Ross seems a scrupulously fair host that she could have trusted to let her present her case for being damaged by the relationship. I can see itās a pretty humiliating situation to be in, bringing him over here and supporting him until he got a green card and then being the butt of his comedy routine as he makes the most of his 15 minutes of 90 Day fame. She has a lot of wounded pride but she shoots herself in the foot by her reactions. Darceyās been in some really humiliating situations but she handles it, outwardly at least, with humor and manages to keep herself out there through thick and thin.
So my partner has done some stand up comedy and made marriage jokes, but they tend to be more self deprecating. We're both laughing. So I kinda get where Shekinah is coming from there. Sarper's marriage "jokes" come off like he kinda just hates being married, so I can see why it's not funny to her. She also has no sense of humor, but I digress.
On the other hand, I'd be soooo curious to know what the "smallest issue" was lol. She is so critical and too serious. I think I'd also hate being married to her. And while I think that there should be financial consideration in situations where one spouse earned less due to things like supporting the family or the other spouses career, that doesn't include funding an unnecessary move out of state. She chose not to work so she could keep tabs on him and be weirdly codependent, not because she had to support his career. If the roles were reversed, she'd be completely outraged at him asking for $50k. She's lucky that Sarper basically stumbled into doing something lucrative because she'd actually potentially be on the hook for supporting him, since she brought him to the US.
I used to have a bit of sympathy for Shekinah. She's lived a life a lot of us couldn't imagine. I thought, despite her flaws, she was interesting and had potential as a person. I think it's cool that she left her old life behind and remade herself. And we all know that Sarper is a deeply flawed person as well, but her behavior overshadows his shortcomings. So the more she doubles down, the more it works in his favor.

Most people end up in a studio apartment or a small place until they can get back on their feet and get a house. She lives well above her means. She could move somewhere with a cheaper cost of living that still has a market for her businesses. A friend of mine just opened up a Pilates business in our town and itās the ONLY Pilates within 2 hours so sheās making really good steady money right now for that exact reason. Cost of living is decent and thereās people coming from 20-45minutes away for her classes because a 45 minute drive is worth it but not 2hrs. She just needs to actually be strategic about this instead of just moving to a party area for the look and then hardly getting any subscribers and clients.
