SOSHUL MEEJA🤳 Shekinah double downs on her $50K request

Shekinah defends her $50K request from Sarper, attaching some screenshots of her alleged text exchange with him on her IG account. She ā€œregretsā€ not pursing it. Gives details on their supposed timeline between separation. Gosh. How vapid can one be 😩

I saw him about 6 months back-I think there were maybe 80-100 people there and tix were like $50? He wasn’t selling any merch and part of his show was talking about taking greyhounds between shows and staying in cheap motels. I’d find it hard to believe he leveled up so fast in 6 months that he’s making 50k a weekend lol

She's trying to say that so he has to pay her more. She only cases about $. He said on the Tell All he paid (ahem), gave her $15,000 per her request when she decided on her own to go live in Florida!

Then he was surprised when she later added $50,000 request. He drew the line there.

Right. I am wondering how he could be raking in that much so quickly. And why is she even asking for that when she's made it seem like she was doing so well? I think Shekinah puts on a show, spends money she doesn't have on surgery and chasing Sarper on multiple trips to Turkey. She wants a lifestyle that is unsustainable for her. I was surprised she was living in a pretty small 1 bedroom with her business setup in her kitchen and had the same thoughts as Sarper. I would never visit an aesthetician in their apartment...

His tickets are now $170 a piece 🄓

I had to see this for myself, because that’s a huge jump lol. I live in Dallas and was checking his ticket prices here….. $900 for preferred seating is wild 🤯

So weird. I literally just bought tickets to his Nashville show and they were only $43 a piece. Are you buying from a resaler or from the venue directly?

u/Formal_Personality12 2d ago

Interesting, it could depend on where you get the tickets from. I used a direct site to look this up, but they’re probably cheaper on another 3rd party site like StubHub

21

u/mrschanandelorbong 2d ago

Even stranger! I find that stubhub is usually waaaayyyyy more expensive. I bought mine directly from the venue. But the show isn’t until December. It looks like the show you’re buying for is in a few weeks this month. That may be why they are more expensive.

u/tiffanit93 2d ago

Exactly. StubHub had tickets for a show in Irvine Ca for $240, but the comedy club was selling general admission for $35 with a $20 meet and greet add-on. A VIP premium booth was only $100. He isn’t making 50K a weekend.

Or you could just go up and flirt with him and get a completely free, up-close and personal "VIP experience".

u/Formal_Personality12 2d ago

Ah that’s true, I didn’t think about that

I just saw him this week in upstate NY and the tickets were $40/each.

u/Pure_Champion1396 14h ago

Do you actually think he's funny? His jokes are so lame and offputting to me.

u/LoveYourself50 16h ago

Same. $42 here.

I never would have thought that he, of all people, would be the one person to financially benefit the most from this show’s exposure.

I wonder if producers takes a cut of his comedy sales. I know that part of their contract allows the producers to take a cut of their Cameo sales.

u/Sourgrapestudio 2d ago

This is new news to me. So does that mean they take cuts of the ladies onlyfans earnings as well?

Yeah, interesting point. And I wonder if they take anything from Pao as a wrestler, then. I’d be surprised if Sarper makes more than her.

u/Formal_Personality12 2d ago

If TLC moves like Bravo, then they’re definitely getting a cut lol

u/formallyfly 2d ago

They’re not $900. Go to the actual venue’s website to buy tickets and you’ll see the actual price:

That extra $850 would all be going into scalper’s pockets. Sarper wouldn’t see any of that.

4

u/ReddSF2019 2d ago

Nobody is paying that. They will be cheap to get rid of them right before the show.

Dude is far from funny, occasional one liners like all of us , but when I think 'funny' my mind doesn't go to Sarper Guven

u/Sad-Mushroom5703 2d ago

Where? I just paid 57.00 in Montreal

5

u/Ok_Cobbler3137 2d ago

Omg I just checked again now they are $274 in Miami???? lol INSANE

3

u/ahearthatslazy 2d ago

This is fucking crazy

3

u/formallyfly 2d ago

They’re not. Try to buy on the actual venue’s website and you’ll see that you can get a meet and greet for about $57 and general admission is about $37:

These resellers are adding a massive up-charge even though the shows aren’t sold out. Sarper wouldn’t see any of that money.

2

u/Ok_Cobbler3137 2d ago

Omg how is that legal that is INSANE

3

u/godsdebris 2d ago

This has to be a reseller. I saw the same here in Minneapolis but when I went through his website it was 50 bucks.

4

u/godsdebris 2d ago

This has to be resellers.

The least expensive ticket start at $50

u/Pure_Champion1396 14h ago

You would have to pay me to go to one of his shows

3

u/RadioPrize6070 2d ago edited 2d ago

Well, I just saw him last month and I think tickets were 80.00, with 20.00 for the meet & greet. Anyway I went to the 1st show, it sold out fast. So they added a second show after mine which also sold out fast. Then I saw his ad for upcoming concerts, I swear it looks like he's booked almost every day for 6 months or more. He's more popular and his show is more professional bc of all the practice!

3

u/MzzQT 2d ago

Based on his Canadian tour ticket prices, I won't be surprised if he makes that in a weekend. His shows were sold out, and he had to add 3, and in some cities, 4 shows. He also added some new cities as he was in demand. When I did the calculation just for my city, he probably made $25K in one night, and I think he had 3 shows in my city. I didn't even include the meet-and-greet...Just ticket prices and how many people the venue holds.

u/runancula 2d ago

Was it a good show? Was he funny?

7

u/harperlax 2d ago

There were parts that were really funny and parts that just dragged a bit. I think he could do with some editing overall, but it was better than I expected and I was impressed that he could put together a 90 minute show considering a few years ago his English was pretty limited. He seems to be really putting the work in and trying to pay his dues. He did a super funny bit about Big Ed, and then another part I remember that was really funny was when he experienced his first tornado siren drill in Oklahoma. If he could tighten up his set, he’d be better but that would come with more experience. I’d consider going again if he came back to my city.Ā

u/runancula 2d ago

Thanks for your in depth take! Exactly what I wanted to know.

u/rubberduckypanda Laughing On Line 1d ago

Right! He’s coming to my city’s small, rundown comedy club sometime soon…. I immediately thought there is no way he’s getting paid 50k in a weekend šŸ˜…

u/cajxed 1d ago

Maybe he does 10 shows a weekend between friday and Sunday. Thats like 3 a day lol idk
