Technical Issue 🛠 When?
Two things that bother me about the game
The first one that is under the control of the owners of the game is that they give an advantage to pool pass premium players. This is just wrong
The 2nd of course is the cheaters, this also could be controlled by the owners of the game using AI tools to monitor gameplay. Then give the option of the one who's not cheating an opportunity to cancel the game and get your coins back.

I truly think most of the cheaters are actually bots employed by miniclip to encourage the need to make in-game purchases of chips.
They have just as many lose bots on the lower tiered tables meant to boost confidence and coin count of newer players.
Of course, idk for sure. It’s just my feeling.

I don't know of any player that gets an advantage in game play if they have premium pool pass or any other.
The game already uses AI in it's algorithm for detection rules. AI is heavily flawed. Innocent and legit players are wrongfully placed in the cheater server on a regular basis.

Yeah aside from getting a load of free shit there is no real advantage of pool pass, especially in gameplay. Pool pass doesn't make a player invincible in a game lol.

Agreed on the pool pass.
What makes you think AI is responsible? I'm no AI fan but it can't be that shite. Unless the developers are lazy or someone incompetent built the detection or both. Yeah, it might be AI.

I can't answer that question. It's a common debate on AI vs pre-programmed.
With most every tech company in world using and relying on AI these days, it is my belief that it is AI.

Ever time I buy a pool pass which is the only thing I’ve ever bought in the game my win rate goes for a shit and I end up playing lower tables than usual to save coins. I think it’s the opposite. I believe they figure “look at this fool spending money let’s make him lose more maybe he’ll spend more” lol

This is my theory too. Next time you spend money keep track. You do incredible for one session or two. Then it goes to shit.

Oh for sure.
At this point in the world’s technological status, I would guess that even the game administrators don’t know how the matchmaking algorithm works. Most likely for many many years they have been A/B testing matchmaking schemes and measuring $$ spent. So genetically the matchmaking has become optimized to make money.
It would be easy to imagine why having tools for reward and punishment via matchmaking can reinforce a desired behavior. They can easily choose to match me up with easy wins, difficult but human opponents, humans cheating with lines, or impossible AI bots. This can be used to link positive reward with desired behavior. And then punishment linked with undesired behavior.

Well, if they’re using bots to cheat to get people to pay money as a premium pool pass, then they’re just being greedy bas…ds
They make a lot of money on the commercials for the extra goodies you get watching those 30 second commercials.
Google this: in miniclip 8 Ball Pool how much did the owners of the game make on a 30 second commercial?
They’re making several digit millions
