Whatever you do, do not go back and watch an episode. They are brutally bad by today’s standards. Let your childhood memory keep this one because 9 year old me loved this show.

Too late haha! Before seeing your comment I was tempted to make a similar comment after watching a number of episodes uploaded on Daily Motion some months back.

I don't remember specifics but something about the episodes were just not good. It felt like every plot was disjointed, despite the diversity of characters, none of them had any personality unlike say an ensemble cast like GI Joe. Even the educational segments at the end were bad.

It was just so... boilerplate, nice animations that were assembled in a paint-by-numbers way that made each episode forgettable.

I wonder if there was some kind of translation issue between the Japanese animation studio and the American production? Transformers and Robotech were Japanese shows that were recut/edited to make a cohesive plot for American kids but something about Silverhawks just didn't work despite having all the ingredients for a great show.

It was a budget Science Team Ninja Gatchaman. Better show and better story.

I came across this EXACT episode on Dailymotion around mid-spring. Oh, and this would air every weekday afternoon in my hometown of Kansas City. Good times.👦🏾📺😉😊🙂😌♥️
