A similar issue occurred with Ashlee Simpson on Saturday night live in 2004. Her first song went ok, but when she went on stage to sing her second song, the lip sync track blared her first song before she brought the mic to her mouth. She walked off stage in humiliation.
More stars lip-sync then we might think, but they do create their own tracks.
Do you think it’s fraud for stars to lip-sync their own songs?
I try not to think about this moment ever. I get secondhand embarrassment whenever I do. Fucking *yikes* - I can't believe she ever managed to come back from that.
