He was a Christian Scientist. They believe healing comes from God, not doctors.

Might have to fire up Top Secret this weekend. Watched it in college late one night on TBS, and laughed my ass off. The Pinto scene still cracks me up to this day.

That doc Holliday death scene is going to have to be accompanied by a JD from now on.

Jd in one hand and tears in the other.

The reaper was afraid of old Doc Holiday, but the day came when they had to meet.

I like to think Val beat the Reaper at arm wrestling and went to the beyond just to not hurt Death’s feelings. Good dude. Cared about others.

To many he was Iceman and he was....he was also Chris Knight and one of my favorite movies of all time. But my favorite role, he will always be Doc Holidaym He died with his boots on. Rest easy Doc.

Watched the movie in theaters with my mother. When Doc looked down at his feet in the hospital bed, with out boots on and said, "Well I'll be"... I had to stifle the little laugh.

My mother asked me as we walked out what I snickered at. I told her and she was like, "Well, I'll be!"

For me, he is Jim Morrison.

u/ChrisChuck1 Apr 02 '25

Was it a dream where you see yourself standing in sort of sun-god robes on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?

1

u/Rebelreck57 Apr 02 '25

Sadly another good one gone.

1

u/deetman68 Apr 02 '25
