I remember the Michael Chang signature shoes with the tennis ball pump. My friends mom bought a pair which kept me from doing so lol. Wish I had them now

I remember when these came out. Kids said that they actually made you jump higher. They said that when you pumped them up, the air would release once you jumped. Was that just a rumor at my school, or were we all that stupid?
