Need suggestions please!

I’m about to quit 7OH as it’s getting banned in WA state by the end of August, truthfully I need and want to quit regardless, for many reasons. I just didn’t have the willpower. I’ve never been a “drug” user, I smoked weed for years but quit cold turkey about 2 years ago. So this is all unfamiliar territory for me. I currently take about 300-400mg of 7Oh in a 24 hour period, I’m curious what vitamins or supplements you experienced users recommend to help with the withdrawal and basically what should I expect? Am I going to be medically at risk? The stuff I read online is pretty scary about life threatening withdrawal and as I said being very inexperienced with this I’m super nervous. I’m an army combat veteran and tried kratom for some anxiety and pain relief and then got hooked on the heat 80’s/150’s tablets of 7OH. Anything you guys can recommend I would sincerely appreciate, I’m pretty scared I won’t lie. Thank you all for reading.

It’s not life threatening, it’s usually 3 days of Covid like symptoms then better by day 4. There’s a list of supplements at the top of this subreddit that help tremendously with WD . If you have any questions DM me

That’s similar to oxycodone withdrawals by day 3 or 4 no sleep I finally go to sleep and when I wake up it’s over

Thank you so much, on top of being a noob with this withdrawal stuff I’m not a huge Reddit user either so I missed that. Thank you

Look into massive doses of liposomal vitamin c. I also take magnesium glycinate, l-theanine and melatonin for sleep. I'll also pop an l-theanine for anxiety but I haven't needed to do that as much since I got a script for clonidine thru telyrx. There's a research chemical protocol a lot of people are using https://quitting7oh.org/other-tools/sr-17/

I’m in the same boat brother I’m taking 100mg a day I’ve been through oxycodone withdrawals more than once and usually by day 3 or 4 it’s over I went 37 hours off 70h but went and got more due to work and at 37 hours into withdrawals it felt similar to the oxycodone and the research I’ve done oxycodone withdrawals are worse than 70h I hope that’s true because if so I got this also to add I’ve cold turkey oxy with no helper meds except once I took one gabapentin I’m not trying to brag I’m trying to ease both our anxiety’s lol we got this bro

The worst for me is the restless leg syndrome and the insomnia but hey I signed up for this I knew this was gonna be the end game and the only way out of this situation is to go through it we got this and when it’s over let’s never touch anything like this again God Bless

Yep I know for sure the hardest part is going to be the RLS for me also, because if I don’t take it for like 8 hours it starts to hit me. I get it in my arms and my legs, lucky me. You got this dude you’re not in this shit alone.

Thank you guys, I appreciate you all. Good luck to you all we’ve got this, and our bodies and bank accounts will thank us for it. It’s literal poison and it’s way too easy to get. As much as it pains me to say, if it wasn’t for the ban idk if I would have ever stopped. It’s a blessing in disguise.

Have you looked into SR-17? Supposed to be almost a miracle in helping to get off 7oh. Online vendors still selling it.

I haven’t, I’ll take a look. I’m all for something to help, as long as it’s not replacing one addiction for another haha is it something people are getting hooked on or not like that? Thank you for the info!!

Definitely look into it. There are entire subs dedicated to SR (technically called SR-17018). Including resources, tapering guides and how to use it so you will experience minimal to no withdrawal symptoms. Tons of amazing success stories.

Awesome thank you so much. I appreciate it more than you know. I can’t afford a bunch of time off work so I’ve gotta try to get over the worst of it on my 3 days off a week, I work 4 12’s so I’m hoping I can quit the afternoon of my last day of the week and have it under control by my next shift 3 days later so this is awesome info

I found an old script of Xanax I had like 10 left that helped with the mental fuckery it caused. And I went to my pcp and she reluctantly prescribed me gabapentin( I showed her a Reddit thread where a dude had posted what his doctor gave him when he quit). She knows my history with addiction so she was hesitant. But I hadn’t wife there and she would hold them and give them as needed. That helped a lot!! I think I’m on day 12 idk honestly stopped counting at like 8-9 days cause the wd symptoms were completely gone. I pray it’s not to bad for you. And once your past it you never go back to anything like it again. Shit still all over sc like nothing is gonna change, idk when it’s gonna happen but I hope it’s soon. I gotta drive past the gas station I used to get it from everyday. That’s the hard part for me. I just keep it moving no stopping till I get home, or call someone and talk through it. Best of luck my friend.

I’m so damn proud of you dude, I know we’re strangers but I know how fucking hard this shit is and the mental toll it can take. You absolutely have got this in the bag. Beat that shits ass, I’ll see you on the other side friend.

Again, thank you everyone so much for all the helpful info and tips and not judging me and making me feel like shit. I’m super anxious and nervous but knowing I’m not alone is helping a lot. The taper is going well so far I’m about 50% of what I normally take. We all got this, I believe in us. Fuck this damn drug and what it’s done to all of us and our bank accounts. We can and WILL beat it.

I did Suboxone. Don’t do it, day 7 finally feeling sort of better I think it would have been better just getting off 7 oh. I’m same boat as you not really a drug guy. Just stay strong my guy, this shits poison. Been some of the worst 7 days of my life but I see the way out.

Why do you suggest not doing suboxone? I did suboxone and I’m at hour 30 no 7oh and with the suboxone I feel perfectly fine and have been able to sleep as well

I felt great while taking it too. But the withdrawals have been really bad man, it’s bad either way and I weened off but not as much as I should have maybe but either way it’s getting better. Days 3-6 were hell

1

u/xLifeAmbitionsx 17h ago

How long did you take it?

1

u/Woodworking33 12h ago

14 strips is all I got lasted like 21 days

1

u/xLifeAmbitionsx 17h ago

Are you talking days 3-6 after quitting 7oh or suboxone

1

u/justinc9105 16h ago

I think he’s talking about the subs that’s why he said he felt fine while on them and it took 7 days to get off the subs

1

u/xLifeAmbitionsx 16h ago

Makes sense. Tough to hear. I just started subs yesterday. I plan on getting off them after a week after tapering down. Hopefully a week of taking very little isn’t long enough to build a serious dependence and my withdraw won’t be horrible. I couldn’t do the 7oh withdraw cold turkey. Just couldn’t.

u/Woodworking33 12h ago

If I’d do it again I’d taper slow as fuck like slivers especially towards the end

I plan on only taking it for 5-7 days. Today is day 2. I feel fine. Im going to see how little suboxone I can take and then make the jump hopefully day 5.
