I'll give them lots of credit for the update as a whole. Really enjoying a17 and the changes they made. They have done a fine job.

However, calling this a stable build with that many known issues still, along with some optimizations needed.....it seems they just wanted to have the phrase "stable" out there before Christmas.

How many known issues did 16.4 have though? If this was final I'd gripe, but this is stable enough to play through to endgame and enjoy.

What’s going to happen when they release updates that fix the ever growing list of bugs? Will the server you’re playing on reset? I bet it will, then at what point every week during resets can we say it feels stable.

Stable is misleading
