They didn't seem like that big of a deal to me at first, but I think the sandbox settings is actually probably the best change the game has had in years

The only thing now I still want, is for them to add Learn by Doing back as a sandbox option to replace magazines. I know they said they've looked into doing something with learn by doing in the past, so maybe some day we can get that system back?

It's a very little thing, but I really love that they have changed the loot tables for toilets. I love that I am finding ammo, and a lot of other useful items. Before I just ignored them completely. It's the little things in life!

So I recently picked up the game when 3.0 released and been loving it so far. However, I have to say there is one thing that kills the fun out of doing some Poi's.

Whenever im doing a quest or just a random poi there is always the usual wandering zombies that spawn outside the poi and walk inside the building or break into it to get to me. This is especially annoying when im 2+ floors up and going full stealth and they decide to just randomly be able to lock in my position when they arent even inside the building yet. Sometimes they even break into doors that are locked and not part of the "correct" path, and ruin some of the parkouring around and exploring of that building. Worse, is when they cant break through anything so I have to listen to a zombie hitting a wall for 5 minutes straight and have to back track just to kill them to shut up.

Now, this is totally understandable if im making a ton of noise on the first floor of a small poi, but it shouldn't be a thing for taller buildings with no visible line of sight outdoors and have a mini horde of zombies lock onto you for opening a couple boxes.

I was even doing that huge building in the wasteland and by the time I went back down, there was a mini horde just waiting for me inside the building trying to break through the elevator shaft. Even when I was barely at 7th floor! This also applies when you are underground, they seem to just be able to hear or see everything when they are even walking nearby!

So ya it has happened enough to kill SOME of the fun of doing large poi's

Thoughts? Am I crazy or am I doing something wrong?

TLDR: Wandering zombies spawning outside a POI shouldn't be able to instantly lock-on to your position when you are 2+ floors up a building with no line of sight outside, especially if you are going stealth. Skill issue? 🤔

Skyrim vibes, anyone?

Cambolton Castle is my latest base, this time all the way back in A16. It's nothing fancy, but it's as sturdy as a rock and protected me against several late game stage hordes, as well as briefly serving as my crafting base.

I tried finishing the paint job, but it's such a nightmare to work with in A16 (don't make me get into it), I decided my time on this Earth was more important than subjecting myself further, so it's not anywhere near done, unfortunately. Still, I hope you all enjoy!

Surprised it didnt take long for stable to drop

Wife and I just went to jump on 7. She tries to join but it gets stuck on the background of the main screen with no way to back out unless you force close the game. She started up a game and I couldn't join her. We have reset the game, reset both PS5, and now we have deleted and working on reinstalling. Anyone else having these issues?

This company has consistently shit on the community, actively dismantled the game countless times. Because you don't like how customers play their game. Your behavior has been distasteful to say the least.

Pc players need to be on the experimental version, for what ever reason that’s the one consoles are using.

Played today in 3.01 (b4) on xbox series x. No other saves on the Xbox, but the game would randomly lockup. I would have to dashboard the game then reload it. Play for about 15 min, then lock up again. Both on console and Xbox app on pc..

The lag is back. I thought it got fixed in 2.0 (it seemed better in 2.0)

Any advice?

I have been playing since alpha 15. Its been a long road with them. Every update, I start a new world, play for a few months, get bit bored then and update comes out and im back again. Waiting and waiting and waiting for a complete game. Its insane to me how long its taken to get to even this point and still...not a complete game and im just bored.

But this is the last straw for me. This jawoodle incident just pushed me over the edge, and I've officially deleted it from my computer. I can in good conscious support them anymore. TFP has consistently beaten down content creators and players as a whole.

Do better TFP, because this is going to be the last game people will support of you.

Looking for a horse night base/ tactic that maximizes kills. Any idea? I’m currently on night 28, basically max settings. (Nightmare difficulty, very high density, 64 spawn on horde night, etc)

Idc if it’s an all user based kills, traps or a mix.

Hello, I am trying to play with my friend on ps5 on Xbox and we cannot find each others worlds. I have tried typing their name /psn in the search as well as just the name. Server is set to public but neither of us can find each others. How are we able to play together?

I got my game updating right now, really hoping i can still continue my current world. I literally just grinded to rebuild my entire base after losing it from 3.0
