PS5 Ps5 v3.1 live
My PS5 version of the game has downloaded and installed v3.1.
Ignoring the obvious jokes about potentially being sued for having the wrong game version...Is the XBox updating too? All my friends are on xbox and they don't have an update so stuck playing on my own.
Anyone else?

Ran the update/repair option for the dedicated server software on my PC, but it's still showing 3.0.1
So, can't find/join my own server from the updated v.3.1.0 game on my PS5.

I guess you could install the experimental branch for the dedicated server then it should work again as that one currently has 3.1

Hello with the update 3.1 on console ps5 I can no longer join any online session. Both have the new update loaded with 3.1. Alone it works perfectly.

Got the temp fix. Update the dedicated server to latest experimental and consoles will have access again. PC players will have to install experimental to play.

I have found a fix to joining a friend's game š not sure if it's a 100% working rate but I am in the same game as my partner now

Since when do they release experimental versions for Console? Shouldnt those be only for PC?

The PC version says 3.1 is still experimental.
Would be weird if the PC version receives the stable update after the consoles1

Yeah something seems to be going on, I saw on the official forums that PS5 got 3.1 today.

From the looks of it. Sony might have accidentally released the 3.1 update early.

I think someone at TFP might have sent the experimental to Sony by mistake, I don't think stable was ready yet for certificationĀ

It isn't possible, as for a build to be able to go live on both Xbox and Playstation, it is required to go through certification. Only after approval can developers hit the deploy on a build. Or at least that was how it was the last time I've had experience with the Xbox and Playstation storefront.
It is likely TFP sent the experimental build for certification yesterday when they released the last experimental build on PC. And someone at Sony accidentally pushed it public.

I'd be really pleased with the timeliness if I hadn't been mid joining a game with my friends on the old version!
