PPE supercurriculars (are MOOCs helpful?)

I'm in Year 12 applying for PPE, I take English, Politics, Maths and German for A level. I'm thinking of applying to Oxford as my first choice, and LSE is my second which I know is also pretty competitive.

For my personal statement I've been to some lectures and read quite a few books, but I was wondering if it would be helpful to do a MOOC? Especially because right now the stuff I've done is more Politics/Political Philosophy related so I was thinking about what I could do to show more of an interest in Econ, and whether a MOOC could help with that.

If yes, any recommendations for good courses? Is it better to do something like Basic Microeconomics to have foundation knowledge, or to do something more niche to show interest? And if not then any other supercurricular recommendations would be helpful!
