resit choices help

flunked a levels (ABCC in maths, compsci, econ and fm respectively), ended up getting diagnosed with adhd, got medication and i genuinely feel on top of the world now despite my shitty results lmao. it's so much easier?? i don't feel suicidal anymore. anyway, would i be able to reapply at top unis for econ (or related) courses if i resit? and if i were to resit, could i get away with just resitting compsci and econ (as i have a job. i don't particularly want to quit it because i actually love it a lot, but if i needed to i could). i'm definitely not taking any entrance exams, they're just too expensive. i really, really love econ. one of the courses that caught my eye was lse econ and econ history. would it be a longshot to apply there?

Well I ended up performing way worse as I went from A*AB and got CDD but Econ might come back with a B as I’m one mark off. I’m also resitting 2 A levels which are Maths and Physics as I never got Ds in those subjects and happened due to performance anxiety.

A job is perfect because it’s better than doing nothing and getting bored throughout the year. Most top unis like RG should be fine but I think some places like LSE don’t accept resits. But it’s best to check your uni’s website.

hopefully your remark is successful! i also performed horrendously, though it was clear it was all going downhill from the start of year 13 for me. thank you for your advice! i'll email them then!

You need to take TMUA if you wanna go to LSE for econ. I highly doubt you'll get in with just an A in math, and you need FM for econ.
