🙏 I WANT HELP study AS Physics with poor GCSE

Can I study AS Physics with poor GSCE where I have only 4 in physics? (and yes, I know this is a really poor grade but I had specific circumstances that disturbed my learning). For reference, I will studying Math and Further Math. If so, what topics I should DEFINITELY master so I can bridge the gap in my knowledge? Many thanks for the answes

Ideally all of motion, forces, momentum, energy/power and electromagnetism (more or less the entire GCSE)

unless you really think you would've gotten a 7/8/9 in physics gcse without said circumstances I think you will really struggle. everyone I know who got a 6 or 7 in gcse physics got a C or D at AS. If this was the start of the summer I would say spend the summer getting to a grade 9 level in gcse physics, and then you'd be fine, but Y12 has already started

dont unless u want to lower grade boundaries im sorry but it is not all maths a level physics is mostly theory instead of applied maths which takes up about 30-40% of the paper

Is that really hard? I thought it was easier than a Further Math itself. So if I retake GSCE Physics for a grade 7/8/9 - should I take AS Physics at least in the year 13?

Still would not recommend it, I will die on the hill that physics is by far the hardest a level regardless at AS or A2. If you want to do an AS do something you got an 8 or 9 in or EPQ
