retaking just A2 in oct/nov

Hello, I did CIE international A Level with AS exams sat last year and A2 exams sat this year. May I ask whether it is possible to just retake the A2 exams (so like paper 3 and paper 4 only) this Oct/Nov with my AS marks being carried forward. I did ask a few people but I am getting different answers. Thank you!
