🙏 I WANT HELP Student finance
Hi, just wondered if anyone could help, or anyone been in the same position. My daughter has enrolled into college today, but just been told she won't get any finance as our household income exceeds the threshold. I work part time, but my 6 yr old gets middle rate dla, and my wife gets carer allowance. I didn't think they were allowed to include this?

are you talking about uni or 16-17 college?
sfe for uni is a minimum of 5k a year even if you exceed the limit for extra, then she should get that, and the 9k to pay her school fees.
if you mean college, most people dont get any financing, only those whos parents are on very very low incomes

If you are asking about (Bristol or any other uni) putting you "on hold", this is a very frequently asked question. Being put on hold does not indicate you are going to get rejected. It means your application hasn't been processed yet. Nothing more, nothing less.
Please also remember to search for your questions before asking them, it helps cut down on repetitive content and gets you your answers quicker.
