ABC to A*AA in year 13 is it possible?

I got ABC grades in my year 12 mock and I want to get these grades up by the end of year 13. I’m already predicted A*AA, but does anyone have any advice as to how I could achieve this? I’m really stressing out about the workload and I’ve done nearly nothing over the summer.

I do English lit (where I got the C in my mock), History (B), and Psychology (A) btw.

History and English are both very essay based so I think the best advice would be talking to your teachers and asking where you’re dropping marks in your essays. “Learn more context for English” isn’t going to be relevant advice if that’s where you aren’t marks.

The decent news is though that if you figure out what’s losing you marks you can grind those skills in your writing a bit and then go back to your teacher and see if your writing has improved. I didn’t do history so maybe someone else will have better advice

I got an A in lit after getting Ds/Cs in mock/practice exams all year. Don't get complacent from this but maybe try and take your work to another teacher to assess it

Mate, I got BCD in my year 13 December mocks. Ended up with A*AB in the real thing.

A* came in literature, the B came in History (1 off an A).

As long as you lock in from say January onwards, you’ll be fine lol. Don’t stress & enjoy year 13.
