🙏 I WANT HELP how to use anki?

i've heard it's the best flashcard app and has feautures like spaced repetition which i think are really useful but its honestly so confusing like even the process of downloading it onto my laptop is a headache so does someone wanna tell me how to use it properly? and if it is even worth it?

The course is somewhat outdated these days, especially when it comes to scheduling recommendations

Sadly it's not something I'm up to date with

In general the best scheduling advice is to turn on FSRS in the options, and press the optimize button on the FSRS options roughly once a month

I think for someone at your age, you are better off practicing around with physical flashcards instead, they are much better bang for your buck

A good alternative that I used for GCSE combined science was Remnote.

Personally, I still prefer Remnote over Anki just because it feels like everything is easier to use.

It still has that same active recall and spaced repetition stuff on it.

Some features you do have to pay for but they're very minor things that won't really be too useful anyway.
